It's Tortie Tuesday and although it's my favorite day of the week, I almost didn't do a post. I've been having asthma issues lately. I had three attacks last night just before I had Mommy take this pic...
I had another three attacks as I was dictating this post. I don't know what's changed because I had been doing well, having no attacks, with one Flovent treatment a night. Last Thursday I had five attacks in a short amount of time so Mommy gave me a treatment mid-day. That helped slow them down to one every so often until last night's round of six attacks. I wish I knew what's happening. I don't like having attacks at all. They're scary.
Daddy picked up my Flovent prescription last night and it was $272! Mommy asked if I was worth it. Is that not the dumbest question ever?

Well, duh! Of course you are totally worth it, Isabella! I won't tell you how much my human spent on Sparkle when she was sick... I will say she could have put a down payment on a new car.
You are worth it but holy smokes that's expensive. I hope you figure out what's causing the asthma attacks and they stop real soon. That would be scary
Oh Isabella, we are so sorry you are having those attacks. You certainly are worth all that medicine. It is miserable having asthma attacks. Some of us have that too.
That is very scary! Does the v-e-t know why? (I know you don't want a visit but you don't want these scary attacks either.)
Yikes, Isabella. I'm sure mommy is asking why from the vet. It there something different at home? That was my first thought. Our Little Bit was allergic to so many things so we know the expense of the medicine. You are worth it and so was Little Bit.

Poor baby! Praying you get some relief. It is strange because I hear of more Torties having asthma than any other types of cats (unless it is just my imagination). Please feel better soon!! catchatwithcarenandcody

That is too bad, Isabella. One of the boy grands has asthma and his is bad now too. His Mom was just telling our Mom today that it cost $300 a month for his meds. And they only help some:(
Your friend will be very happy to get out of Olathe. It is truly oppressively hot. And no relief in sight!!!
