After three days of noisy roofers on our house as well as another three days of them working at our next door neighbor's, it's finally quiet once more! Isabella slept through the whole ordeal. I was antsy and anxious but I did get the nerve up to check out the action like watching the guy load the shingles onto the roof...
It took an hour for them to stack everything up there...
Of course every bundle was dropped with a loud thud. The hammering of the liner paper shook the house breaking two bulbs out of the kitchen spotlights and knocking photos off the wall. The whole ordeal was messy...
And exhausting...
We are back at work today and should get back to normal soon. We hope we never have to go through anything like that again. Ever.

Why do these worker humans always make SO much noise? I think they do it on purpose! I'm glad it's quiet again.
I'm glad the roofing is done and you can now enjoy the peace and watching birdie TV! We don't like workers in the house at all!

they did the roof at our condo last year for an entire week so we know first paw how annoying that can be! YAY for quiet! catchatwithcarenandcody
Oh, yeah. Those roofer guys make a lot of racket! And because they're on the ROOF, ya can't even stare at them! It's crazy! We're glad there is peace in the valley again!

Roofs last a long time so you shouldn't have to ever deal with all that- as long as they did it properly.

well it seems y'all recovered from that trauma quickly. And you deserve to - that noise must have be incredibly horrible.
