What a weekend! We celebrated for three days straight! Well, okay so we slept a lot but we did enjoy celebrating Mommy and Daddy's 27th anniversary and World Cats Day on Sadieday! Thanks to everyone for your comments Friday too! In addition to our celebrating and sleeping, Daddy took Mommy to her happy place - the Oregon coast...
She loves being at the coast so that put pressure on me to find the perfect anniversary gift. I decided to get her something she totally wouldn't expect...
That's right! I got the coolest little green wiggly worm ever! Well, at least it used to wiggle...
Okay, so he didn't wiggle but it sure made Mommy squirm! She was so happy with it she put it somewhere special. I wouldn't tell her where I got it from but she doesn't want me to bring anymore to her since she thinks one is more than enough. Isn't that silly?
Anyway, we hope you had a good weekend too! What did you do?
Hope you enjoy something unexpected today!
Angel

The coast looks stunning! Glad Mommy and Daddy had a great time :)
Angel, what a "surprise" gift for Mommy ;-)
What a precious gift to give your human! I am sure she loved it lots.
Love that first picture. What a beautiful view. No wonder that's your mommy's happy place.
That was very thoughtful of you getting your mom and dad that green wiggly worm. It looks like a tomato worm so I'm betting you had it delivered by tomato and she never even suspected it was coming.
that is my happy place too :) hope it was a fantastic anniversary
What a thoughtful gift!!!
The Florida Furkids
That is one lovely view. Angel, that darn worm just had to stop wiggling, didn't it. That wasn't nice of the worm. We wouldn't want any more if those either. Anyway, you all have a great Monday.
Oh My...now that is one special gift...and I am talking about the wiggly worm! Well done! I hope your mom liked her trip to the coast as well. :-)

I linked you to Awww Monday because you're a huge Awww.
I knew your peeps would have a great weekend. We're on our boat still and will return home this afternoon.
Have a purrfect day you two. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥♥♥
Ha! My cat is too lazy to mess with a worm like that. One day she was laying on the kitchen floor and a lizard ran across her foot. She actually looked up at me like "Are you going to get that?"
Sounds like you all had a wonderful weekend!! What a beautiful photo - no wonder it is your mom's happy place! Great gift idea too by the way. A wiggly worm... we'll have to take note of that for when our human's special days come up!
We think that wiggly worm was a great idea for a gift, Angel. It looks a lot like the caterpillars Mom saw at the butterfly show")
Woos - Ciara and Lightning

We can see why the Oregon coast is your mom's happy place. Wow, stunning vista.
Well, WE think that was a lovely, thoughtful, interesting gift you gave her. We only hope she appreciated it fully.
Thanks for the purrs for Nicki. The human says she's really tired of having to micromanage everything about our lives. LOL.
I think I need glasses- I thought that was a mini pickle :) That was so thoughtful of you to get a gift.
I like the gift! I can't believe Mommeh wasn't happy to stick him out in your new garden outside. We've got to toughen up that Mommeh.
That coast is beautiful! I am very jealous that Mommeh can go there.
What a fun gift you gave your mom, Angel. We know she really liked it. ;)
cute photos! Have a great week!
Oh, Angel! (wiping a tear away) That is the MOST thoughtful gift EVER!!! I hope I can find something like that for my dad's upcoming birthday. Your mom is one lucky woman!!!
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
Angel, what a purrfect gift. You certainly know how to treat your mommy very well and so does your daddy. What a gorgeous spot for an anniversary trip. Twenty-seven years is a wonderful accomplishment. Mom and all of us wish them many, many, many more years of happiness!
