Summer Lovin'

The Blogging Business Artisans challenge for July, chosen by Jenny from A Bird in the Hand Art, is to make anything summer related, love related or the movie Grease related.  Well, we really don't want Mommy to start singing the songs from Grease (she loves that movie much to the dismay of our ears) so I thought I'd help her come up with something summer and love related.  We've got the love part down...
I have a good idea for the summer part too but first I have to make her nervous by walking all over her project...
I also need to be held a bit...
Being held is my favorite part of projects and I can hang out on her shoulder for a really long time cause she scratches my back which feels oh so good...
Okay, now it's back to business.  Where were we?  Oh yeah, trying to finish this challenge and make it summer-y.  Wait, I need to tame some paper...
Voila!  Here's our finished challenge piece...
Thanks to me it's now the purrfect combination of summer related and love related with the addition of the quote -  A life without love is like a year without summer.  I'm just brilliant!  Plus I saved us from having to hear Mommy singing all the songs from Grease again!

Hope you enjoy some Summer Lovin'!
Angel

You did a great job of supervising, Angel! And thank COD you saved us from Grease - my hard-rockin', musicals-and-50s-hating human actually can't stand it!

That made us nervous too Angel, walking across the project. It sure did turn out really nice even with the walk over. That is terrific. Hope all of you have a great day.

Loved that movie. And the piece turned out great! I like how the background turned out with all of the texture and the little hearts on the side--very cute. I have no idea why you were saying it was not working out.

That's really pretty, Angel!
My mom loves it when I walk on her projects! She always gets real excited and says, "Thank you, Davy!" She must really appreciate it, don't you think?

Angel, there is no way she could have pulled this off with so much style and pizazz without you! It's a great project but your help made it extra special.

Good job to you both for meeting this challenge well!

Hmmmm....it sounds like mom and I could get together and sing all the songs from Grease together. I went 7 times to see that movie when it first came out. Of course...that is back in the day when it used to cost 75 cents to go to the movies. LOL!

That crafty project is sure filled with love! :)

Well, Angel, thank goodness Mommy's not singing those Grease songs!! Who wants to sing songs about grease anyway? And, purrfect idea about sitting on her shoulder -- I'll have to try that with my Mommy too....
