Thankful Thursday

I wanted to take another opportunity to say a heartfelt thank you to everybuddy who crossed paws, sent purrs and prayers for my surgery yesterday.  I know Mommy is very grateful too because she was beyond worried for me but the vet said my tumor was NOT cancer and the growth on my neck was NOT cancer but I had scratched it so much it had to be removed.  I also got my teeth cleaned so my smile is extra pretty now!  We still don't know why my kidney enzymes were high so we'll monitor it and hope it was a fluke.

When Daddy picked me up I stuck my head out the windows of my Sadie Utility Vehicle (SUV) but by the time I got home, I was pretty tired and pretty annoyed at my kitty sisfurs sniffing me...
My leg bandage had a purple heart on it because I'm so loved!  After I rested for a bit I felt better so Mommy took me outside for some fresh air.  You can see where they stole my furs to remove the tumor..
It upsets Mommy to see this but I lay on it to show her it doesn't hurt me and I'm okay.  Now if only my furs hurry up and grow back!  Anyway, thanks again to everybuddy for your concern!  I can't tell you how much I appreciate it!

Hope you know how wonderful we think you are!
Sadie

This makes my day knowing you are okay, Sadie! That is wonderful news and tell your mom not to worry about your bare spot, your fur will grow back quickly I'm sure. Abby had a shaved patch too from her surgery and the medication patch she had to wear and her fur is grown back now. That's great that nasty tumor is out of you now! Praise God!

SADIE! We take a short break and come back to see that you had to have surgery?!!? :( We're so thankful you're OK - no cancer -- YEA!!! We know that was so scary for you and for your mommy!
You're really looking great! Your furs will grow back in no time (well, OK, it'll take a few months since it's summer...) and the most important thing is that you have that sweet Sadie smile on your face!!! (Have I told you both Dave and I find you 100% adorable?) And incisions -- they are beautiful things, really. Think of them as life-enhancing or life-saving marks!
Tons of love to you! Tell your sisters "ha roo" for me - and give your mom a hug, OK?
Play bows,
Zim

There is no scare like that of thinking your little dog or cat friend may be in danger. I, too, have spent days and nights crying and worrying about possibly losing them. It's horrible. Been there, done that. DON'T want to do that again!

I'm just very relieved that everything came back good news! Whew! Please give Sadie a giant smoochie from Aunt Lin and Sharla, I'm sending one for you too! And a big hug too. I know how very scared you were.

Oh Sadie, we are so glad that you are home and are all right. We know how your Mom feels. It is so scary when our best fur babies have to have the darn surgery. We are so thankful that you are all right. Take care.

We're so very happy that the VET didn't find anything bad!! When Tamir had surgery he had missing furs just like that. Mom would get all leaky eyed whenever she saw it. It didn't bother Tamir at all!!
