Hey efurryone! I've got something to tell you and it's rather embarassing because it shows how slack our mommy has been lately. On second thought, maybe I shouldn't say anything. Ah, what the heck, we're among furiends here but lean in close because I don't want others to find out...
Yesterday I walked into the living room when, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a miniature sleigh pumpkin! 
Yep, that's right, a pumpkin! Seems that Mommy never bothered to take it off the mantle after Halloween over a MONTH ago! Told you she's been slack... 
Even Angel couldn't believe it was still around!
The reason she finally took the pumpkin down was that she remembered it was there put up our Christmas stockings for Santa Claws to fill with treats. I wonder if she leaves them up past Christmas if Santa will keep coming back to fill them up! A girl can wish!

We have fluffy towels on most of our window sills -- just for Sammy!

Well Sadie since you're telling about your mom I'll admit that my mom still has all her fall decorations out and not one Christmas decoration. She hasn't even put up my stocking yet. Can you believe that. As for your sisfurs I guess they just aren't as tough as us dogs are

Oh Sadie, give your Mom a break. She hasn't had a good week, poor thing. That pumpkin is too cute. What fun. Maybe you could paint it red or green and use it for Christmas decorations. Definitely, if you leave the stockings up, Santa will come back and keep filling them up.
we have a room full of boxes and bags full of tree parts. We'll see what Buster thinks about having a tree inside. {:-D

I always find leftover decorations after the holidays. Christmas is the WORST! And I always find them after I've put everything up in the attic. Ugh.

Well, Sadie, that pumpkin looks pretty good for being a month old! And you know we have to have our kitty tushies on something soft....unlike you doggies who don't care a whiff.

Oh my! Sometimes mommies can be forgetful. As for the carpet, it's amazing what we'll do for our pets' comfort, isn't it?
Oh that's okay, Sadie. Pumpkins are for fall, not just Halloween. Our mom had pumpkins out until Thanksgiving!!
