It's Sadieday and it's a fun one because we're going on a field trip! I talked Mommy into take me (and Daddy) on a hike in the forest today. Do you wanna come with us? Well then, let's go!
It's been awhile since Mommy has been on a hike so she's a little antsy so I'll leave her on a leash for a bit until she calms down...

Yep, she's doing okay but she's mighty slow. Hope she keeps up!
One good thing about her being a slow poke is that I have time to check out the view...
And do a little off roading...
While she checks out boring furry trees...
I'll check out pee-mail...
This has been a fun field trip and I hope it's the first of many this spring and summer!

Oh Sadie, that was such a fun field trip and we are excited that Mommy got let off the leash. Such a happy face on you in the last picture. That is so terrific. Hope all of you have a very Happy Easter.

We didn't get too far, but we were outside puttering in the yard a bit. Still, it was really nice to be outside for a change. :)
We have had so much rain, Sadie, that we haven't had nearly enough field trips lately. You were so lucky to get to take Mom AND Dad on your field trip - no wonder you have such a happy smile there.
