I'm happy it's Sadieday but really sad about all the people and animals affected by the Tsunami yesterday in Japan. We live an hour from the coast here in Oregon so I have been reflecting about the times I've gone to the beach and looked out at the ocean...
I never imagined that something that looks so beautiful could be so horribly destructive...
But no matter where we are, things can change in an instant so it's important to cherish every moment and live life to the fullest and with lots of love...
That's what I plan to do!
Hug the ones you love this Sadieday!

Sadie, we have been thinking a lot about that too!
That was very nice Sadie. Our prayers go out to all the people in Japan.
What a lovely post Sadie. Those things are all so true. Got to enjoy every day, that is for sure. Our hearts go out to all the people affected by earthquake in Japan. It is all so sad.
Good thinking, Sadie. Tsunamis are so destructive - it seems the tsunami is what dd the most damage, more than the earthquake did.
Oh Sadie -
We had just left Tommy and The Chats - I mean Chans - blog with gooseflesh on my mom
AND now your pawesome post -
We are keeping all in our thoughts - especially now the nuclear plant fears are starting emerge as true worries -
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra
Sadie, you are completely right. And we must appreciate and seize each moment we are given and love those we are given too. ♥
Sadie our prayers have been with everyone in Japan also. The first photo of you is gorgeous. Tell your mommy to frame it and enter it in a contest
Woof! Woof! Beyond belief what happened. We are very sad too ... Happy Sadieday! Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar
It sure is sad to see what has happened in Japan. My hubby says water is the most destructive force on the planet, and in second place . . . . . cats! LOL!
Terrible news :(
Watching the newsfeed is heartbreaking. Animals usually sense when there's danger approaching, so I hope most of them got to safety. At least the birds did.
Oh, it's so horrible, isn't it? Did you see any effects from the tsunami? I heard Hawaii and the west coast saw some tsunamis as well.
SCARY!
Woo, Sadie. It's so terrible, isn't it? But the photos of you are just gorgeous.
I'm going to go hug my mom now.
Luv,
Dave
Wonderful post, Sadie :)
A wonderful post for today :)
I'm sure glad you, your mommy and daddy and sisfurs are safe!
Hope you can enjoy the coast again soon!
Glad you are okay. It is a very sad thing to have happen. I feel so bad for the people of Japan who got hit with that.
nature has a way of reminding us of its power... Keep an eye out on the waves!
It is tragic news. I can not imagine what that must be like.
Sadie, you are very wise!
Sadie must have had a blast at the beach! what a sweetie :)
A beautiful post my dear.
Your right Sadie, every moment is special!
We are all sad here too Sadie! Thanks for the words of wisdom! Love, Moon
i shared LOTS of hugs today with my family and a few tears too as we made moved the final items from my daddy's home !!!
Very wise post, Sadie. Mom can't get the images of the destruction out of her mind. so very sad and it seems like more bad news just keeps coming out of Japan. Our prayers and thoughts go out to them.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
That is too true. I know that I take a lot for granted and this is something I need to work on. Even if things are going badly, I need to be thankful for what I have.
Have a great Sadieday :)
We are purring hard for those affected by the earthquake and tsunami.
I can't believe I got here so late and almost missed our walk - the ocean is beautiful but you shouldn't mess with Mother Nature!
Sadie, simply beautifilled posting. Very thoughtful/thought provoking. I bet you get lots of hugs from your Mommy and Daddy.
Mother Nature is an every changing wonder isn't she? Her powers are not to be taken lightly.
Hope you had a lovely Sadieday girl!

Cherish the moments.. that's the right thing to do. Things just happens. Our thoughts are with the people in Japan.
It really does make you hold the ones you love even tighter. How life can change so much in an instant. Such a tragedy.
