It's Sadieday!

I'm happy it's Sadieday but really sad about all the people and animals affected by the Tsunami yesterday in Japan. We live an hour from the coast here in Oregon so I have been reflecting about the times I've gone to the beach and looked out at the ocean...
I never imagined that something that looks so beautiful could be so horribly destructive...
But no matter where we are, things can change in an instant so it's important to cherish every moment and live life to the fullest and with lots of love...
That's what I plan to do!

Hug the ones you love this Sadieday!
Sadie

Good thinking, Sadie. Tsunamis are so destructive - it seems the tsunami is what dd the most damage, more than the earthquake did.

It sure is sad to see what has happened in Japan. My hubby says water is the most destructive force on the planet, and in second place . . . . . cats! LOL!

Terrible news :(
Watching the newsfeed is heartbreaking. Animals usually sense when there's danger approaching, so I hope most of them got to safety. At least the birds did.

Oh, it's so horrible, isn't it? Did you see any effects from the tsunami? I heard Hawaii and the west coast saw some tsunamis as well.

SCARY!

That is too true. I know that I take a lot for granted and this is something I need to work on. Even if things are going badly, I need to be thankful for what I have.
Have a great Sadieday :)

I can't believe I got here so late and almost missed our walk - the ocean is beautiful but you shouldn't mess with Mother Nature!
