We got a special package the other day from Hobbes and Grace's mom Lin at Duck & Wheel with String. Our mail lady brought it while Mommy was still working so I waited forever patiently for her to open it. After staring at it for elevenity billion minutes she finally opened it...
but after teasing me with sniffing it she sat it on her desk where my sisfur Angel then sat her floofy butt in the box...
She got pretty comfy in that box...
I kept waiting for Mommy to get done working and Angel to get her patootie out of the box...
so Mommy could finally get out what I smelled the minute that box came into our house, TREATS!
And they were so worth the wait! Thanks Lin!
She also sent toys to my sisfurs...
which ended up on the floor every time Mommy tried getting a picture of them with it...
Mommy won a giveaway on Lin's blog of the book "North Country Cache" which is by a fellow blogger Joan Young, also known as Sharkbytes...
About this time every tax season Mommy starts daydreaming of life after tax season so she's really enjoying going along on Joan's journey ono the National Scenic Trail! Thanks so much to Lin for the great giveaway and for Joan for sharing her travels in a wonderfully written book. Thanks for the treats and toys too! We love everything!
Enjoy your Thursday!

How fun to get all those treats! I bet Joan's book is great - she is an impressive mostly-outdoors-human.
That just sounds like the very best box of treats--something special for each of you!! Lucky lucky lucky kids.
It sure looks like you all enjoyed the box of treats. Thanks for the laugh too, fancy Angel sitting in the box, so unusual!!!
Well Sadie I didn't think you were ever going to get Angel out of the box.I am glad you got some good treats and your sisfurs got some toys. Congratulations to Mommy for winning the contest.
Sadie, it must have been hard to be so patient with Angel sitting on your treats! But your patience paid off.
How tasty AND khool!
I think that box will work just fine to ship my Valentine's Day khat!

PeeEssWoo: Hi Sadie!
Angel, you sure didn't waste any time at all getting your butt into that box. Poor Sadie had to wait and wait and wait. Glad it was all worth while in the end. Hope all of you have a terrific Thurs.
Angel is smart--she knows the boxes are best! What a nice gift you guys got! Sadie is a good doggie waiting so patiently. We like Hobbes and Gracie too! Their mommy is very funny.
A box full of goodies for everyone! That was very thoughtful of Lin!
okay Sharla...now i'm just plain jealous of Sadie. my beautiful husband worked 12 hours in the snow storm yesterday, was "dog" tired and went right to bed. he was still sleeping when i woke to come out and start working...well he heard me giggling (at the this cute post)...and said "what's funny?", i responded "Sharla's blog is really"...i didn't even finish my sentence he comes stumbling in in his robe, his eyes half closed from sleep and says..."is it Sadie". if this goes n much longer i'm going to have to follow you in secret LOL
great post we both enjoyed it...HAPPY SNACKING SADIE GIRL!!!
What a great goodie box. It looks like you are all enjoying it!
You're very patient, Sadie! It looks like it was worth the wait!
Before I got married I used to go backpacking. I have made it very clear to my husband that I do expect us to resume this activity with the kids sometime in the near future!
The book and treats look great.
I love how your eyes get all buggy when you eat a treat, Sadie! Your sister was cute in that box!
I like Angel in the box--how come that is always the best part??! I see Isabella sniffing it too--I think Hobbes sent them a secret message as he was all over that box before I sent it. :)
Glad you all liked the treats. :) It's such a gloomy time of year and little things like that always make it better. Let me know how you like the book and the kitties like their sparkle balls. (I KNOW Sadie liked her treats!)
Those treats look like they were worth waiting for!
The Farm cats love sparkle balls. I hope your mommy enjoys her book
Packages are so much fun, aren't they girls?! Love the goodies you got! :)
Wow...what lucky pets you are to receive all those treats from Lin! She is a very nice and thoughtful lady! ( I like her blog too!!)
Sadie, you are such a patient sweet girl. Mommy loves you best of any doggie.
Sadie, yoo look like yoo are REALLY enjoying those treats! We adore that close-up pic! MOL!
Congratulations on your win, ladies. Looks like it takes a committee to open a package at your house:)
