If only...

If only the birdies would come closer...
I could jump up to reach them!
Maybe I'll getcha next time birdie!
P.S. It always freaks my mommy out when I jump up on the screen to get the birdies which is why our window is never fully open. She says it's something about being up on the second story, long fall down, not wanting us to get hurt, something like that. Mommy's are worry warts aren't they?

Your mommy sounds like our mommy.
That sure is a nice big window for you to watch the birdies!

Oh I would worry too. You are just so beautiful Angel. Have a wonderful and blessed day.

God bless,
Jodi

I don't blame mommy for being a worry wart. I worry about Oscar a lot!

He also feels that the birdie don't come close enough, he yells at them all the time :O)

Mommy doesn't want you to find out you can't fly like a bird.

Good job scaring the birdies Angel but you do need to be careful about the screen....

Split Rock Ranch said...

Grampy is right, kitties don't fly! Good thing your Mommy knows that. Have fun bird watching.

Wooos! Mommy had a kitty pulled out of a screen window once, and after that she was very careful with the screens and the kitties, ( the kitty was ok, just scared by a big feral cat)
I will get that little birdie for you!

Yes, Mommies are careful, plus your long nails are not really great for the screen.

Birds are fun to watch. Some are even bigger than you Angel!

Cheers!

Yes, your mommy doesn't want you to get hurt! But you can still have fun watching the birds and scaring them away! May I say also, that you look marvelous today!

You'll get 'em one of these times, we sure about that!!! And yes...mom's are worry warts, especially ours! Dad tells her to chillax all of the time. She says she has neffur been this way, but after 9-11 happened, that's when her worrying began. We "try" not to be too worryful for her, but sometimes, you just gotta take life by the reigns and go nutz!

I was worried, too!

Are those birdies teasing you by flying too close?:)

Hehe cute!! Birdies are our friends!

Our mom finally gave up fussing at us about climbing the screen after the birds - she claims we ruined them. Our best viewing area is on the main floor though so no worries about falling out.

Our mom says she would worry about us falling out too. We love to climb on screen though - the ones in our house are trashed!

Sounds like mommy is doing her job. I don't like it when Spunky climbs on the screen either. She doesn't as much since she was declawed when she was a kitten. (Yes I felt very bad about doing it, but it was only fair since our older cat, Moe, had been declawed. Besides, everything would have been torn up!

You can stretch very long!

You would make a pawsome bird catcher! Be careful around that window!

It's so fun trying to catch birds! My Mommy's a worry wart too. That's cause they love us so much! Love, Moon

Yesterday, we heard a very loud crashing noise. It turns out that Harley saw a lizard on the other side of the window and crashed into the window trying to get to the lizard!

Farm cat Stinky brought the publicist a bird the other day....she was not happy at all.

You want to keep your mommy happy, don't you?

Angel, if you can ever figure out a way to get those birdies closer, let me know...I've got a few out my window that I'd like to catch!

Poor Angel, can't get a bird thru a screen. People make it hard to have fun.

Need to put something on the outside so she doesn't have to worry so...but did you tell her that Angel's can fly?

We think we might agree with Mom on this one, but TD says he will help you catch a bird if you want to come over.

I do the same thing with our windows and the patio door. I am always afraid that they'll jump on the screen and go right on through.

TiLT said...

No - don't jump! Try for the birdies from the first floor :)

Lin said...

I was worrying about that too alllll the way over here. :) Be careful, silly cat!

Just look at you! You are a great bird catcher I am sure!!!!!

Balance a cat biscuit on your nose to entice those birdies!

We absolutely are worry warts! When my babies get on the screen, they get the water gun. And they are not fans of the water gun. Now I just have to pick it up and they recognize the sound! hehe. I'm a mean kitty mom. lol

Unknown said...

Yes mommies are. But it's only because they love you so.

The Monkeys said...

Our Mom worries too! She says that's a mom's job.

vickie said...

Angel, someday you'll reach it! I just know it :)

Amy & the house of cats said...

Wow those birdies must really be exciting for you to try to reach them Angel. And I think your mom is smart to keep the window partly closed - you can never be too careful when an excited kitty is around.

Splendid Little Stars said...

of course they are, Angel! But that's a good thing!
