Resting Up

Whew!  What a weekend!  Mommy was gone a lot with our visitor and since I'm used to her being home all day I missed her.  When they came home, I was the first to run down the stairs meowing loudly the whole way so she heard me coming before she saw me.  I know this makes her feel really guilty but I just can't help myself because I was so glad to see her and of course she was glad to see my cute face too...
She did tell me about some of the things they saw while they were out and I wasn't too interested in scraggly looking trees and marine layer at Cape Perpetua...
Or the sunny coastline at Heceta Head...
But I was interested in how the heck do you groom a fish and why is it different between fresh and saltwater kinds...
I also thought the little dog with the same colors as our angel sisfur Sadie was interesting...
I'm just really glad things are back to normal at least for awhile.  Our Grandma from Las Vegas will be here later this week so I better rest up so I'm fully ready to be spoiled!
Hope your day is filled with whatever you enjoy!
Angel

PeeS:  The above photos were taken with Mommy's cell phone.  She has hundreds of photos on her big new camera but hasn't had time to download any yet but if we think she took some good ones, we'll be sure to show them sometime in the future!

Wow, Angel, you are certainly having a lot of company these days! I wonder if fish grooming is something like gutting them so they can be cooked! Hey, a kitty can dream, can't she?

Sounds like your mom has been super busy lately. At least she did feel a little guilty for not being home with you.
Love the picture of the coastline. Wish I was there right now

Sounds like great fun all around. That sign is too funny :)
Angel, you look sweet as always!

WOW! That sure is pretty where Mommeh went!

Fish are weird. I think it is very hard to take care of them--especially to keep their tank clean and balanced to keep them alive. I hear salt water tanks are really tough, hence the groomer. I would think the visit is more for the tank than the fish themselves.

Busy times for the humans - I don't understand fish either - I prefer them on a plate, nicely broiled, lemon wedge, fries and cole slaw....

I'm glad you let your mom know how much you missed her. She likes that and I know she feels guilty when she leaves you alone. I feel guilty when I leave our Little Bit alone too. It's not very often though.

Because you are so adorable I linked you to my Awww Mondays post today.

Have a purrfect day. My best to your mom. ☺

Maybe the groomer scrubs the fish with an itty bitty brush?

Your Grandma will be SO happy to get away from the icky sticky weather here.

Your Mum's pictures are pretty! My Mum said she's envious, and if she closes her eyeball lids she can almost hear the ocean.

Whatever.

I think you should demand extra snuggles from you Mum for having left you alone so long. Kitties got rights you know.

Such a great bunch of photos, Angel! You are a beauty! I think it's just right for you to let your mama know in no uncertain terms that you missed her quite a bit while she was gone. Three of my four always greet me at the door when I come home from work. The forth one waits in the window to see my car drive up, so I think she is the "alert cat" that tells the rest I'm home! :-)

Good for you for letting her know you didn't like to be left alone! Your mom took beautiful pictures! Oh, and the ones not of you? They're okay. Purrs....

The kitties around here feel the same way when we're gone a lot. I'm glad that your mommy has been out having fun, though! I can't wait to see some of her SLR pictures. Have lots of fun with your grandma this week.

Looks like Mommy had such a good time. Love the pictures. And we know she was glad to see your cute face Angel. That dog was the same colors as Sadie. Kind of sad. Take care.

My mom said those pix your mom took make her miss the ocean. What?!?! We have the KANSAS Ocean right here! I have no idea what gets into her head sometimes!
You totally need some pampering time.
