Birthday Excitement

Mommy says thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday!  She had what started out to be a very quiet day but I thought her birthday should be exciting so I tried to find something to take it up a notch...
And find it I did!  There's no photos of this but right after that picture was taken I found a wasp on THIS side of the screen!  Talk about excitement!  I batted it down and it got on the wall which is when Mommy saw what it was and totally FREAKED out!  She grabbed me from behind which freaked me out so I sorta kicked her a little before she made me get away from the wasp. Then she ran to the kitchen to get something to deaded the wasp all the while yelling at me to stay away which again freaked me out.  Can you tell?
My idea to add excitement didn't quite go as planned although I did make a lovely design on Mommy's arm...
She took the photo with her left hand and she's right handed so it's much prettier than it shows and it bled a lot!  She wasn't even mad at me either!  Anyway, she had first grabbed a bag from the bead box to kill the wasp before realizing how thin the plastic was but she did leave some bloods on it...
She called Daddy at work and he came home to cover my designs bandage her up.  I may have added the wrong kind of excitement but I did make her birthday memorable!  In case you were wondering what Isabella was doing while all this was going on...
Nothing gets her too excited although she did pick up her head for 4.3 seconds when her Daddy came home!

Hope you find some (safe) excitement in your neck of the woods!
Angel

Wow, that was LOTS of excitement! Okay, so maybe it wasn't what your human was expecting, but I bet things would have been way more boring if that wasp hadn't happened along!

Your Mommy is going to remember that birthday excitement for a long time! Heehee.
Mommy sometimes find us nosing and batting at something on the floor which makes her smile...until she discovers it's a baby centipede! Then she gets all loud and noisy and starts to shoo us away. It's a BABY, Mommy. It can't do anything to us!

Ummmm, that might have been a bit too much excitement for a birthday! Lovely "gift" you gave your mom, though. Very decorative.

(Purrs she heals quickly!)

You can tell your Mommy that the goats and the Farm cats have all been stung and have now learned their lessons regarding wasps.

STAY AWAY from things that BUZZZZZZZZ

Oh dear! Wasps are not nice I agree tho I'm not too sure I would grab and drag any of my kitties - Perhaps there some kitties that need a mani-pedi? Isabella is rather Zen isn't she?

Yikes, you messed up mommies are really badly. I know she's not angry at you though. You were just doing what comes natural, and Isabella was doing the same thing by sleeping through it all. Bless her heart.

Have a purrfect day. My best to your mom. ☺

Oh dear Angel. I know it was an accident but poor mommy.

Oh no, Poor mommy. But she must have scared you a lot Angel, to do that to her. She surprised her too. We know she didn't mean to do that you didn't mean to hurt her. Hope that darn wasp is all deaded. Take care.

Ooo, nice design, Angel! Mommy may not have liked it but it's pretty cool from a kitties' point of view!
That Isabella... missing out on all the waspy fun!

That was very artistic. We know you didn't mean to hurt your Mommy. We think it's all the wasp's fault!!

Hope your Mommy's arm is better soon.

Oh dear, poor Mom - that looks very sore to us. We think you look more perturbed than freaked out, Isabella. But those wasps can be pretty nasty - good thing Mom intervened. Hope she heals well.

Oh dear !
Guess that was a little bit to much excitement for both of you.
So typical of Isabella to just sleep through all the excitement :)

You certainly did find some excitement! Probably a lot more than you bargained for. I hope that your mom's arm isn't feeling too bad. How nice of Daddy to fix it up for her.

Wow that was some excitement. Too bad it didn't go exactly as you planned it.
I bet your moms arm must have hurt

OMC! That was quite the gift you gave your mom. But it's best that you left that nasty wasp alone. They are meanies!

OMG your poor Mom! I bet that hurts a lot even if they are love scratches! I'm glad no one was hurt by that mean old wasp! Your Mom's a hero. Lots of love and kisses, Moon xoxoxo

Oh noes, we are mad at mom, she is laughing reading this, and it is not funny. It just reminds her of herself with the scorpion here. Humans....sheesh, they just need to let us play with bugs and wasps, and then they won't get hurt, right? :-)

Ouch! But Happy Birthday to your mommy.

Oh my goodness! Ouch! Those scratches are going to burn for a while. Scary about the wasp being on the inside! You got a lucky escape Angel!!

Angel, your mommy's arm looks so sad and sore. But, we know she's glad she kept you from the stinging wasp. Our angel sisfur, Steamer, got stung by a bee once and her itty-bitty paw swelled up to the size of a baseball glove. She was very lucky 'cause she didn't have any other type of reaction. The rest of us have been very lucky to never catch any of the stinging things we've gone after. Hope you mom is up to date with her tetanus shot!
