Furry Alarm Clock

Usually Mommy and Daddy are up at o'dark early every day but lately with Daddy's messed up work schedule she's gotten into the habit of sleeping in until 7am!  Can you believe that?  My theory is if there's light outside there better be fresh foods in my dish so I paw her forehead until she stirs and then wait for her to get up so I'm the first thing she sees...
I always have to be the alarm clock because if it was up to some other kitty, well, let's just say I'd starve...
What are you looking at?  Is it noon yet?
See what I mean?  It's a good thing I'm always on duty!

Do you have furry alarms clocks or furry snooze buttons in your house?

Hope you enjoy a long day awake today!
Angel

We are all late risers here! Blame it on my night owl human.

Our furry alarm clock goes off at 5:00 AM!! Thank goodness I'm an early riser anyway ;-)

Audrey is the furry alarm clock in our house. Though she sleeps in the kitchen so as not to be waking the humans every hour on the hour, she rattles the door around 5 am. But Mom is usually up pretty early.

My Manny Boy is my alarm clock. He just jumps on the bed and then runs off and meows. This morning though he jumped on my stomach.

Stinky the Farm cat wakes me up by drooling on me - not nice!

Electronic cat feeder = sleeping in at our house. Our kitties have always been really good with sleeping in. I like that part about them. :)

I've been sleeping in lately (due to storms/thunderstorms we are having at night). Mom is always up early. I wake up right away once mom opens my food drawer. Lots of Golden Woofs, Sugar

Angel, you're a terrific alarm clock!

In our house, often Derry will start waking the human around 2AM - 3AM. Then by 4AM both he and Nicki are in full blown "get the lazy-a&&ed human out of bed to feed us" mode. :-p

We can't understand why she complains about the dark circles under her eyes all the time!

I used to! Cleo who stick her nose up under the covers and poke at my shins, and if that didn't work she lick my toes! and when you'd open your eyes all you'd see was her nose!

Our Little Bit wakes us from time to time, but never for food. She free feeds so she can eat whenever she wants. I remember having cats back in the day (before the allergies) and I had one that did the same as Angel. Bless her heart. I love how Isabella lives her serene life.

Have a terrific day. Scritches to the babies. ☺

Some of us are early risers and some of us are snoozers. Breakfast is at 8:30 a.m. at the latest. Our humans are retired so we figure we're retired too. Have a great day. Purrs and hugs from the kitties at The Cat on My Head, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Josette

Mommy's pretty relieved she doesn't have you as her alarm clock, Angel. She'll be happy to have a Isabella alarm clock instead. MOL.

Ummm, yes we certainly do. Ciara and Thunder would sleep in late every day, but Phantom usually is the early bird - way too early many nights. And Lightning is ready to go as soon as any other pup's paws hit the floor. Phantom actually had Mom up twice last night - didn't make for a very good night's sleep for any of us:(

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

WE have lots of alarms here but no snooze buttons, darn it all. They all want to get up before daylight to eat. Love those pictures Isabella.

7! For shame! Kitties get hungry in the morning and need their foods.

Thank goodness you're there to get your Mommy up. You could STARVE if you wait for her to get up on her own.

Duke is very patient in the morning unless he needs to go out really bad. I used to have a cat that would bop me in the head until I got up to fill the food dish

Angel, the mom says she would love to wake up to your cute face! Believe it or not, we don't usually bother the mom until after 8am on the days she doesn't work. Aren't we nice to let her sleep in??

Daily routine changes are tough! We have a couple furry alarm clocks over here, too. They aren't big fans of weekend days that don't involve getting up early.

Awww you both are so precious. M just fell in love with both of you! Oh gosh, I hope she doesn't get any ideas of a sisfur or bro for me. Yikes, I like being spoiled!

Yup ~ Banjo is the alarm clock here too. The sad part is, he has an automatic feeder so it's not like waking me up is going to get him fed any quicker!! :(

7 AM! Preposterous. I expect my brekkies no later than 6am. Why do the staff think they can sleep while we starve! Harumppff!
