Tonight is the kickoff for Monday Night Football with two games being played. We'll be down in the Mancave watching the big screen TV because Daddy's favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, is playing in the 2nd game. I can't remember when the Chiefs last had a winning season but Daddy still roots for them - actually he does a lot of yelling for them! Anyway, I'll take my spot in my chair, we'll have the Chiefs pennant on the wall and we'll hope they start this season with a win!
If not, I'll do my best to look cute so maybe he won't notice the score!
Are you ready for some football?
Sadie

YES WE ARE! Good luck to your Chiefs! They can win this week, but next week I'll be rooting for the Browns to beat them. At least one of us will win next week!

Our Mom is a little bit of a football fan too, but she loves hockey a lot more. Can you believe that she likes the Lions?? We can understand because they're feline, but they haven't won a thing in a long time!

We hope you enjoy your family football time! We're not football fans here but Momma (like the Monkey's Mom) gets excited about Hockey. . . go Redwings!! And Sadie, your cuteness would overcome a lost game, no contest!

Enjoy the game, Sadie! Our humans watched football yesterday. Sadly, their team did not do so good.

Haha ~ your cute little face could distract anyone from anything sweet Sadie!

No football here ~ golf and hockey. :)

Have a Happy Day!

I think the only way I'd enjoy football would be having you sit next to me looking cute, Sadie! Enjoy spending time with your Daddy!

WOO~HOO...football season has started! Last night was a madhouse at our house! Dad's a H~U~G~E Cowboys fan and mom's a Rdeskins fan. Well, Dad was using lots of really BAD HBO words and mom so wanted to rub it in, but knew dad was livid, so she went to bed! Good luck to your team tonight!

With a face like that, your daddy won't even know there's football on TV :) You'll keep him smilin'!

Good Job Sadie. He may need some cheering up. Be there and be cute. That is what you do best.

Two games? COOL!!! Yes, I'm ready! Although, my wife and kids are not terribly happy. Did you see the game last night? WOW!

Mishkat said... September 13, 2010 11:14 AM

We're wishing the Chiefs all the best! We hope they do much better this year. Our humans are pleased that the Redskins actually WON A GAME last night, so we know it can happen. (Plus it made them feel better after the Va Tech loss on Saturday- that was truly depressing.)

No foot ball here! Just some sparkle balls and catnip mice!

Wouldn't it be nice to see our Chiefs win? We get so embarrassed by their continuing losses. Everyone is abuzz here about the big game tonight. They are expecting a traffic nightmare as the Royals are also playing today. Trying to get all those avid tailgaters in is going to be fun.

Our assistant likes football a little bit but likes baseball and tennis better. We don't get ESPN, so we don't get to watch a lot of sports which makes Mom sad but she has us to entertain her. What else does she need??? Hope your Dad's team wins Sadie.

Duke likes to catch the games with his dad sometimes. Me not being such a football fan I just stay upstairs and out of the way.

Faith said... September 13, 2010 1:50 PM

This happened so fast, didn't it? I can't believe it's football season again! :) Hope your team does great!

Simba said... September 13, 2010 2:28 PM

I hope for your Daddy that the Chiefs have a good season. Even if they lose tonight, they can always do better later.

Nico Designs said... September 13, 2010 3:00 PM

OMG! There is part of me that is glad the season has started because my daughter gets a kick out of watching with her Daddy. But then I lose him to the football and I can only handle so much!
