Okay, we realize we said this year we're living in the moment and being present each day but skipping right over tax season is pretty appealing. But then again, we'd also skip over several months of prime birdie watching due to naked trees...

You just reminded me to do some birdie watching today! Ha, like I ever need reminding for that.
With single digit temperatures and tons of snow it's hard to find something good but when I stop to think of it heat comes to mind. Heat and warm blankets. Oh and maybe boots that don't have holes in them :)

Bird-watching in the winter is fun! (Okay, any time, but you do see them better with bare branches.)
We're happy for our furnace and cosy blankets...our windchill is minus 33C at the moment, which is minus 27F. Brrrr!

The squirrel is sitting on our windowsill every day in this cold. I think there is warm sunshine and maybe some heat(?) from the house there. Either way, the kitties have enjoyed watching him. Hey, it passes the time...

We can see lots of birds just as you can Angel. But it is too cold to go on the catio so we must watch them through the window. Not as much fun as being on the catio. It is 74 more days until Spring. Well, we love Winter. Mom ... not so much. But she keeps reminding herself that it's killing off the tick and other unwelcome bug population. That helps!
