Way back before the holidays we received this Kong Active Triangle Play Mat from Chewy.com to review. I have no excuse on why we're so late but I'm up for the task today. My first impression is I like the pink animal print...
The inside has a small scratching surface and also a soft plush red fabric that feels good on my floofy paws...
The theory behind the Kong Active Triangle Play Mat is a good one but it doesn't really work for us. The tunnel is too small for us to enjoy and as a flat mat it doesn't really do much other than provide a soft place for a bath...
We were really surprised and genuinely disappointed about the size of the Kong Active Triangle Play Mat. Even the velcro closure doesn't seem to be able to stand up to rough and tumble play so if we could fit, we don't think it'd stay a tunnel for long. It could possibly work for kittens but since we haven't been kittens for over 9 years we have no way of knowing for sure. Anyway, we give it one paw up because of the soft surface to sit on and the catnip mouse is fun to bat at. We'll be donating the Kong Active Triangle Play Mat to the local shelter. We hope they enjoy it!
Even though this product didn't work out for us, Chewy.com has lots of other products to choose from! We must say that everything else we've ever reviewed or purchased from Chewy.com has been purrfect. If you haven't tried Chewy.com we highly recommend that you do so! They offer automatic delivery, great customer service, quick delivery and free shipping on orders over $49! They also have the bestest boxes ever!
Hope you have a purrfect weekend!

Disclaimer: Chewy.com sent us the Kong Active Triangle Play Mat for free. We received no other compensation. This did not influence our opinion in any way since we're cats - we only like what we like and have no qualms letting you know what we don't like!

Too bad it didn't quite work out. It does look like a nice product though.
I don't think even I could fit into that triangle!
I give it one paw for being pink...lol :)
That's great that you'll be donating it!
I like your disclaimer - "we only like what we like" and that's all we need to know.
Wow. I guess it wouldn't work for me either then, huh? That's too bad, because in theory, it looks really fun!
Yours sincerely,

Mudpie seems to be the one *huge* fan of that triangle. She's had hers for a couple months and plays with it every single day. She shoots through it like she's beeing shot out of a rocket MOL
Too bad the triangle was too small...it looks like it could be a lot of fun.

Looks like a really fun idea - maybe Kong will listen to you and make these in a bigger size. Even if it didn't work for you, it is very cute and may make some baby kitties very happy.

Would it be fun if a toy was in there and you had to work to get it out??? maybe that is the thought behind it.
Bummer. The idea is a good one.
That would be a tight fit for almost any cat...'cept maybe kittens.
Sorry it wasn't a hit. My kitties wouldn't like it either most are 12 pounds and up .
Too bad this toy is too small for you. It looks like a fun idea.
I definitely couldn't fit in there! I would smush it! It is cute for kittens though! Hope you're all having a snuggly good weekend! Love & Stuff, Moon xoxo
KonaKitty would be the only one at our house that would fit in that little triangle! And John. John shoehorns himself into ring-boxes, swear to Cod.
I can see my boys trying to squeeze in there, but if it doesn't stay together well, they'd lose interest quickly. I bet if I set it out as a mat they'd still find anywhere else to sit, like on my pile of papers! Trouble makers. ~RascalandRocco
Ahahaha. The mental image of you trying to squish in there is amusing to imagine! But I'm sure it would only be amusing to the humans watching, not to the kitty involved.
