Sadieday Wishes

Happy Sadieday!  It's the last Sadieday of 2012 and while our reflections of the year include sadness and heartbreak such as losing our sweet sisfur Sadie, we have decided to not dwell on the bad but to look at the good.  For instance, we were blessed to share our lives with Sadie and her special spirit...
She taught us that every day is to be appreciated and anticipated...
And that there are adventures down every path you take...
And of course she taught us to be happy and show it with a smile...
Our wish for you in the New Year is that you find your own joy, adventure and happiness and be sure to smile every day!  As this past year has taught us, we never know what tomorrow will bring so appreciate every single moment!

We hope you have a Happy Sadieday and wonderful last weekend of 2012!

PeeS:  We want to continue to spread positivity on Sadiedays so if you have suggestions or ideas of ways to do this, please let us know in the comments or email us at beadedtail at yahoo dot com.  Thank you!

I love seeing your Sadiedays! My human plans to work very, very hard in 2013... but the secret it that her work, which is writing and photography and art, brings her a lot of joy!

Thank you, beautiful, sweet Sadie girl, for brightening our days with these beautiful photographs of the beautiful you. We miss you, and we remember you with so much love, and we smile whenever we see you.

These are such beautiful and moving and yes, profound words - that there are adventures down each path in life that each of us take. And to be happy, and to love one another.

I'm all weepy now so I'd best send this off. With much love to you always, beautiful Sadie, and to Angel, Isabella and of course Sharla, your mom, too.

Have a beautiful, bright, hopeful, healthy and happy 2013 everyone. - June in Ireland

Oh Sadie it is always so great to see your smiling face. Spreading the positivity is such a good idea. I think just seeing Sadie's smiling face works just great. But Mom will think on it and get back to ya. Keep smiling everyone.

I listened to a radio host, who every Friday would do a "Bright Side" feature. He'd play Monty Python's "Always look on the Bright Side of Life" and folks would call in and give their good news for the week. It could be simple things like "My college kid is coming home today" or big things like "I've just been cleared of cancer." Maybe you could do something like that?

Sadie's smiley face is about the good things in life. I have to remember to smile more and quit letting work and work stuff get to me. That's my resolution for the new year.

It's good she brought so much joy perhaps to focus on a pet that needs a home so joy can be brought to both the pet and a new owner?

This is a great last post of 2012. Sadie is smiling about it too. She has taught you so very much.

I think doing posts like this is right on the money. Sadie seemed to have had life dialed in very nicely.

Have a terrific day and last weekend of 2012. Scritches to the babies. :)

Beautiful post!! Animals are such great teachers, and Sadie was wise, loving, sweet and a truly wonderful friend. And that last picture of her grinning ear to ear --or "smiling wide enough to eat a banana" as they say -- is just priceless. Wishing you much happiness, laughter, joy and blessings for the New Year!

LOVE Sadieday, for so many reasons. First and foremost ... love Sadie's smile. But also the reflection on the simple things in life that make us smile. Here is an idea to think about ... a bloggy friend of mine is suggesting a 52-week photo collage as moments in life. The posts are each Saturday for the next year. Might be a nice way to remember Sadie by joining in! http://thestudiosublime.com/

We think Sadie would really like this...that Sadieday becomes a day to smile and reflect on all the good things!

Oh Sadie. I never even meet you, but I feel loss, and sorrow, and JOY when I see these posts. ♥ It's hard to think of something new to do on this day, but I'm sure your sisfurs and Mommy will come up with something truly special. Always better to have loved and lost, than to not loved at all. ♥

Blessing Sharla!!!!

Oh. I had to catch my breath seeing teat last photo with Sadie's big smile. She is very missed.

I would love seeing a "smile" feature on Sadieday--something that made either you or a fellow blogger grin during the week--maybe like a random act of kindness? That would be a good tribute, I think.
