Today is Memorial Day here in the U.S. so we're thinking of the men and women who have fought and died for our country. We are very grateful for their service and our freedom. We're also thinking of our friends and loved ones that we have lost...

Today we have a public holiday as well, although it is a religious one. Great to see the sun is still shining over at your place!
Sadie should get a treat for being so patient while she waits for the grill to fire up ;-)
Memorial Day is one of the few holidays that has my full support. It is holiday with great meaning for everyone.
A day to truly honor all who have served our country so well and those who continue to do so. We lost two young men from our city last week - so sad for their families.
And yes, Sadie, we agree - we need to see that grill fired up here too.
