We Believe in Fairies!

Be on the look out because you never know when a Fairy Hobmother will visit you!
Who is the Fairy Hobmother you ask? Well, she (and sometimes he) is from Appliances Online and flies around the blogosphere granting wishes to people who comment on posts like this one. Last Thursday we commented on our friend Ann and Duke's blog and we were happily surprised to discover an email from the Fairy Hobmother (aka Jennifer) that our wish was granted!

We wished for a donation to Senior Dog Rescue of Oregon because I am a senior dog and Mommy always feels so bad that other senior dogs don't have a loving furever home like I do. She wishes she could give all dogs (and kitties) a furever home but since she can't, this organization does wonderful things in our community helping senior (and not so senior) dogs find their furever home. That's why we were so happy to have our wish granted! The Fairy Hobmother donated $40 to this worthy organization! Yay!

What do you wish for? Just tell us in your comment and you might be visited by the Fairy Hobmother too!

Hope all your wishes come true!
Sadie

What a wonderful wish to come true! The Fairy Hobmother truly is amazing, to grant you that wish, and the wishes of other bloggers. Makes our mom's heart a bit lighter, to read these good things!

Congratulations! What a wonderful way you used your wish.

Right now I truly wish our Congress could find a resolution to the stalemate they have been in and could stop holding the world economies hostage.

I also wish for some normalizing of weather patterns in the uS - rain where it is needed for farms, no rain where there has been too much.

Not much!

That is a special Fairy to grant you your wish and what a special wish. Glad the shelter got some help. WE wish for a donation to the Brother Wolf Shelter in Ashville, N.C. They are a not kill shelter and are trying very hard to buy their building.
Take care all of you have a great Sunday.

Wow! We've never heard of the Fairy Hobmother before! How cool!! We would wish for a donation to P.A.W.S. of Michigan spay/neuter clinic that they will be opening sometime in September to provide low-cost spay/neutering so there will be less unwanted kittens and puppies.

Our mom says she agrees with Simba and wishes our crazy congress people would get their act together.

Definately a beautiful wish, and an awesome granted gift.

Nice, nice Fairy Hobmother!

We would like to enter our wish for everyone who reads this to post on their blog a PIF/Pay It Forward that they do this week. Pay it forward to someone this week, for any reason, and tell us all about it.

That is a great wish to be sure. Even though I am a goat I wish that the nice shelter in Missoula where Sherpa the Farm cat came from had more food and treats for the kitties and doggies that have to live there. The humane society and AniMeals both do a good job but could always use more money.

The publicist agrees with your other posters about the people in Congress but she thinks they need more help than the Fairy Hobmother could give

What a great wish you and your mommy wished for Sadie! Glad it was granted :)

I wish for a bigger room for my crafting! These walls get smaller by the day and my business gets bigger by the day!

We never heard of the Fairy Hobmother, but she sure is a good fairy. That was a very nice thing to do to make your wish come true. I bet just about everyone who comments on your blog would be able to find a similar organization to have some extra funds. Too bad there have to be so many pups and kitties in need.

Wow - miracles do happen! How exciting! I just heard about this poor little Gimpy today. I do not know how costly it was to help him, but my wish would be for him to get all the care he needs to get better and hopefully live his new owner forever! http://waterwaif.blogspot.com/2011/07/meet-gimpy-tortured-stray-cat-i-have.html

Wow a fairy hobmother the only fairy I heard is when Mom jokes about the laundry fairy to do all the wash. In this slow economic time any help towards rescue organizations go a long way. So good work by the fairy hobmother purrs.

Oh, wow! What a great Fairy Hobmother!!! We are both seniors, too, and can't understand why people don't know we still have a lot to bring to the party! What a great wish you made!!!
If I had a wish ... hmm ... can I wish Mom would stop putting the cone of shame on me? No... no, that wouldn't be right. Watermelon? No... I already have some in the magic cold box. I wish for our kitty and pup friends in our local shelter to find forever homes, like me and Zim did!!!
Luv,
Dave
PS: Sadie, you look very thoughtful by the window!!!

The Fairy Hobmother sounds very cool. I don't know if she could grant my wish, cuz it's a big one. I wish for all the animals that need homes to find good, loving furever homes. Maybe a donation to Duncansplace.org would help that wish come true. And maybe a tunnel for me. MOL
