Freaky Friday

Okay, so really it's a freaky Thursday as we get this ready but we're in the middle of the first big thunderstorm we've had here in the 7 years since we've been borned and also in the 10 years since Mommy and Daddy have lived here.  She thought I'd be really scairt and I am a little but I'm more curious as to what that noise is that is causing the house to shake...
Our mommy is a super chicken when it comes to thunder and lightning so she didn't give us much time to get this ready since the power keeps flickering too.  We just wanted to tell everybody we hope you're having a quiet, sunny Friday in your neck of the woods!

We've had a few thunderstorms here and I'm not exactly a huge fan! But I hate hailstorms even more!

We don't like thunderstorms at all. Hope it passes by your area quickly. Take care!

How interesting that this is your first big thunderstorm after so many years. Did you like watching the lightnings?

I don't like the noise of thunderstorms, but I like it when they water my garden for me. I'll take your water---it's hot and sunny here....again. I'm tired of 90 degrees.

Our human's a big chicken when it comes to lightning/thunder storms too. They don't phase us much, but then again, we seldom get a doozy. Once in a while...Then it's our human who wishes she could cower under the bed. LOL.

Sun, sun, sun and heat here! Our mom, being a weather geek, LOVES thunder and lightning. She thinks it's one of the best parts about Kansas. Yes... yes, that IS a bit odd! Zim and I don't really care one way or the other; we're quite used to it all!
Stay safe, kitcats!

I have finally become afraid of thunder these past several months and I go and hide.

We don't know what thunder is yet but we know fireworks and we don't like them. The other night, it looked like someone had a big flashy box going outside and so we just ignored it like we do when Mom uses hers. Have a good, hopefully quiet weekend! Purrs...

Duke doesn't seem to be bothered by storms at all. It's me that is a bit of chicken

He, did you say Thunder and Lightning were there? BOL

We aren't crazy about those storms either, but we are happy to hear they didn't bother you much.

Happy weekend.

Maybe your mommy should wear a thundershirt when there's a storm.

Hopefully no one got too scared and the thunderstorm didn't last too long!

I can count on one hand how many thunder storms we had as a kid .... but in the East - it is a regular occurrence ... pretty much multiple times a week in the summer

I hope the storm wasn't too bad! We have them all the time here. They're scary but my Mom kind of likes them. Hope you're all enjoying your weekend! Love, Moon xoxo

That sure is a super long time without a storm. You've been pretty lucky, especially as your mom is afraid of them. Very brave of you, Angel, to watch out the window. Purrs and hugs, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
