Way back in January 2008 we had no idea what we were in for in starting a blog. Actually, Mommy started it as a supplement for her Etsy shop so we weren't even a part of it until she later realized that we were way more exciting (and cuter) than jewelry! Actually, she just wanted us to do most the work of writing the posts and we have certainly done that and along the way we've met lots of great furiends from all around the world who we've come to love as family and we've laughed and cried with in both joy and sorrow.
We've recently hit 1,450 posts and I think that calls for a little celebration so I decided that we're going to give someone a journal of their choice from Mommy's shop!
For an extra entry, give Mommy a suggestion of something you'd like to see on a journal or any other helpful idea you may have.
This giveaway is open until Friday, May 18th and anybuddy anywhere is eligible.
How's that for a great way to celebrate? I think I'll have a Niptini too!

My mom too started out with a blog then she realized that people thought it was much funnier to read about me. So I got my own blog.

What a great way to celebrate! Even though my human has a pile of journals that have been half written in, she thinks it would be cool to have a special one for the upcoming BlogPaws conference... and she loves the one with the pawprints and hearts.

There was a mini scuffle between Whisky and the cats but with 28 kitty paws and only 4 doggy paws, the cats won and they chose the "I love MY Rescue Cat" journal.
Whisky said it would be nice if there was a journal that had both a cat and a dog. :)

Cats are my family; dogs are friends' family. So I like all of the covers, especially the kitty love silhouette with tails forming a heart.
One of my favourite T-shirts has cats walking forward with tails up on the front. On the back is the same cats from the rear. Maybe you could use that idea.
Other ideas: cat in tree; the Cheshire cat; cat watching prey (mouse, bird, butterfly) through a window, tail lashing - maybe knocking something off window sill; cat in full stretch - front or rear legs.
I could go on.
Missed that I could have 2 entries - so fav is Kitty Love with tails in heart shape.
Missy says that she like Mr. Dicken's Quote about Cats... but we likes the cute one that says I hearts my rescue dog - but it needs to says rescue dogs - cause theys two of us!
