Isabella
January 10, 2006 - January 23, 2024
We're sad to announce that Isabella went to the Rainbow Bridge last Tuesday. She made it to 18 and had been doing well until we woke up on Monday to her being ill. The vet treated her with fluids for low blood pressure and low glucose and she was well enough to return home that evening. The next morning she was showing some of the same signs and when the vet called saying her white blood count was high and she wanted to do more tests, we chose to not put her through all that. Such a hard decision but we know it was the right one. She is once again with her sisfurs Sadie and Angel. We know they're cuddling in a sunpuddle waiting until we meet again. For now, our hearts are broken.

So, so sorry. A hard decision to make but the one decision all of us pet parents may have to make at some point in their lives. The kindest and most loving decision ever. Know they will all be waiting for you at the other side of that bridge with clear bright eyes, tails wagging and running to greet you. She was amazing....as amazing as her Momma and Daddy are. Hugs sweet friend, big ones.

There are no right or wrong paths, no proper way to carry oneself, no set amount of time to complete it. Some steps will come easier than others. There will be rogue waves of grief that you won’t see coming, and knock you back days. But you will come through it. If you get lost let us know.
