Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday!  Since it's my favorite day of the week I'm trying to decide whether to play with my favorite toy, my nip jelly bean...

Or maybe just do my favorite thing to do, nap in a sunpuddle...

Two good choices wouldn't you say?  Hmmm.  Which one should I....zzzzzzz

Happy Sadieday!

After working so many hours for so long, Mommy is lazy takes awhile to recoup after tax season.  She looks forward to not having anything she has to do (besides cater to us) and catching up on the piles of magazines and paperwork that's stacked up since January.  She likes to read while lounging in bed and our sisfur Sadie always knew this routine and made sure nobuddy bothered her...

She kept an eye on her to make sure she was okay too...

Sadie tried to teach me how to be vigilant to make sure Mommy could rest.  I learned how to hold her down but have trouble with being vigilant...

It's the staying awake part that always throws me off...

Anyway, practice makes purrfect so I'll keep on practicing and one of these days I'm sure I'll make Sadie proud!  I'll certainly get plenty of sleep trying!

Whatever routine you are doing this Sadieday, we hope you do your best!  As always, keep a smile on your face and spread those smiles around!  Smiles are certainly needed after the events of this past week.

Nappus Interruptus

We had a nice Sunday which meant napping in open windows...

Well, until somebuddy came along and wanted to put me to work modeling.  I did not appreciate the interruption so tried to ignore her...

She didn't take the hint so I'd tried the kitty glare...

Since she wouldn't leave, might as well rub my cooties on the prop...

That worked.  She let me be so I promptly resumed my nap!

It's Sadieday!

Happy Sadieday!  We're taking it easy around here today because Mommy hasn't been filling up to par lately so I'm taking it upon myself to make sure she gets some rest...

She won't be getting up until I say she can get up...

Our sisfur Sadie was always the one to make sure Mommy got her rest.  She'd lay on the end of the bed and watch for introoders so Mommy felt safe...

Of course, just like on her strolls, she'd look back to make sure she's okay from time to time too...

Sadie was a Momma's Girl and although we'll never be able to fill her paws, we'll do our best!

Be sure to spread some smiles this Sadieday and every day!

Tortie Tuesday

I hope efurryone enjoyed the World Cat's Day celebration yesterday! My sisfur Angel and I were left home alone so we had a wild day of napping on the couch, the bed, in a sunpuddle, on the table and we even tried napping on the floor. *gasp* Because of all that napping, I have to rest up today... And since it's Tortie Tuesday, I'll make sure my Tortie toesies hang out...

Who Was the Real Snoopervisor?

Yesterday my little sisfur Isabella implied that she was so worn out from what's been going on around here with getting our new flooring. Well, furiends, today I thought I show you what she really did during all the hustle and bustle. I, of course, was always alert and aware what was going on... When I was checking out the happenings in the dining room, I thought Isabella was behind me helping with the process...

Is everything going okay back in that corner Isabella? Isabella! It's not break time yet! *sigh*
Later when Angel and I were having an important meeting about the state of things...
This is what Isabella was doing... And when all of our living room furniture was in the dining room, see how much Isabella cared about the disruption... Nothing, absolutely nothing, stops her from getting in her 98 naps a day! So while she said yesterday was an extremely lazy Sunday, actaully for her, EVERY day is extremely lazy!

Working Hard on a Monday...

It's the beginning of another work week so time for me to take my position on the desk where I can keep an eye on Mommy...

It's not a very exciting job but it's important to make sure she doesn't slack off. Since she doesn't move alot all day, I think it's safe to sneak in a nap or two...

Kitties work so hard behind the scenes, it's only right that a big portion of the green papers earned go towards treats and toys for us!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday! I've been napping a lot lately because, well, just because I want to.

Anyway, it doesn't seem that my mommy has figured out that napping is a time that I want peace and quiet and that means no flashy beast!

Sheesh. Even Torties can use a little beauty sleep from time to time. Speaking of which, back to sleep to become even more beautiful...

Lazy Sunday

We're all feeling lazy today after Mommy and Daddy came home yesterday. My little sisfur Isabella has been attached to Daddy like glue and Angel is sticking pretty close to Mommy too. I've been keeping an eye on both of them and following them wherever they go so they don't get any crazy idea to leave again. This is all very exhausting so today we're recuperating.

Double Duty

Rather than take it easy this Sunday, we're working extra hard by doing two things at once. We're taking our nap and making sure Mommy has a day off by keeping her out of her office chair.

Hopefully all this hard work results in extra treats.

Sunday Siesta

We're still recuperating from our holiday around here. Today Daddy is taking out our toy tree so we stayed up late last night playing with it. It's tiring trying to get all those little pine needles off the branches.

We'll show you some of our presents tomorrow after we get all rested up today.

Monday Already?

Did you ever have one of those weekends that you planned to relax and nap but it turned into a nip-filled, fun, party-time weekend that just messed you all up but you didn't want it to end?

We just had one and I need a long nap to recover.

Tortie Tuesday!

It's Tortie Tuesday and today I'm going to give away one of my beauty secrets. It is very important to make sure you do not smoosh your furs on one side more than the other when you are napping.

In order to accomplish this, you must flip your sleeping position from time to time.

I am a purrfessional napper so have this flip down pat but after a lot of practice, you can do it too and your furs won't be smooshed either. Start napping right away so you can work on your technique!
