Tortie Tuesday

It's the first Tortie Tuesday of 2017 and I need to catch up on my beauty sleep after helping Daddy set up Mommy's new work computer yesterday afternoon...
It was supposed to be a simple plug in and go kind of set up but in reality it took five hours and a lot of complaining on Mommy's behalf - she really does not like change. Well, I don't like the disruption during my nap time!
I don't know how I'm going to recoup that five hours of sleep in addition to my normal 22 hours when there's only 24 hours in  the day! This is not a good way to start the new year!

Do you cope well with change or disruption?

Hope you enjoy some zzz's this Tortie Tuesday!
Isabella

I have a different name for change: cool new things! I guess it is all in perspective.

That is going to be tough Isabella, to make up that sleep. Maybe a little at a time. Good luck to you. You sure are looking good.

Nicki gets excited with new things and with change; he's a busy boy and has to be in the centre of everything. Derry's more stressed/upset by change, though once he figures out it's safe, he'll come out and investigate. :-)

But as for anything computer related being plug in and go...hahahahahaha!!!

Purrs and peace. :-)

As we age we cope with change less and less well. I can tell you that. It's physically upsetting. Old age isn't for sissies.

I hope today things are back to normal and you can get your beauty rest.

Have a purrfect Tortie Tuesday Isabella. My best to your mom and J. ♥♥♥

And were there HBO words? New computers and such are exciting but can be such a PITA...Actually I like change but not disruption, you can have one without the other.

We don't like change either. Sammy uses pees or poops on the bed to let me know he is not happy.

Oh my 5 hrs? My Mom would NOT have liked that one bit!!! I handle change well, Mom handles SOME change well but not anything pertaining to technology! Love, Cody http://www.catchatwithcarenandcody.com/2017/01/festival-of-sleep-day.html

Change is a very bad word in our house!! How on earth are you going to catch up? You might have to cause a glitch in the space time continuum!!

Gibbs was thrilled with change the week between Christmas and new years. He had his dad home all day long and didnt have to spend the day inthe basement by himself

Whoa - look at ALL those kitty trees!!!! Lots of different viewing stations for you two

Misty just rolls along with change, but Lightning isn't always happy about change. He is still very good, but Mom can tell when he feels stressed.

Woos - Lightning and Misty

What is the deal with all of the cat furniture?? It looks like a shelter with room for 20 cats! Hahaha! You sure are spoiled. :)

I don't mind good disruption--like when you are moving furniture to paint or to get new furniture. But I don't like when there is a problem and you have disruption to make it better--like a broken pipe or messed up computer. :(

I hope you got it all set up finally.

Isabella, you are so beautiful. We can't imagine you needing beauty sleep. Maybe just plain sleep.

Isabella, we bet if you had helped with the set up, it would have gone much more quickly. Sounds like five days of 23 hours of sleep each ought to have you back on schedule. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Angel Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
