Thank Cod It's Friday!

We have had one topsy turvy week here but we're sure glad it's Friday! Mommy was supposed to be in Texas to celebrate the very first book signing of our friend JB Bean's book about Mister's Garden.
All the plans were in place for her to fly to Dallas early Wednesday but JB received the shipment of books Tuesday afternoon and the pages were out of order. That's a major problem! The printer accepted full responsibility and has fixed the issue for future books but with no books this weekend, there's no signing so Mommy postponed her trip. She was very disappointed but we're grateful she's home with us this holiday weekend.

In preparing for her trip to hot and humid Texas, Mommy's friends helped her step out of her usual all black wardrobe into something much more, well, wild...
Yep, that's a green shirt with lots and lots of giraffes on it! Her friends thought it was bright, whimsical and wild like Mommy is. MOL! The tags are still on that shirt and the other five non-black things purchased on the recent shopping trip so we'll see if Mommy stays out of her black box!

Have you tried anything new lately?

Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!
Isabella

My human read about the book problems on Facebook and she was really bummed for the author human! The next run had better be PERFECT! That's all we have to say about that printer.

I'm sorry about the canceled trip. How disappointing for you and the author :-/
Have fun wearing your new colorful clothes :)

Okay - No. As adorable as giraffes might be (oh those big brown eyes and long lashes) tell Mommy that a person can be wild and wonderful and colorful and stylin' without wearing toddler clothes! (No actually I wouldn't put my toddler, if I had one, in something like that.) Tell Mommy I love her! (and such a great photograph of you!)

haha! You were going to step out of your black box for sure! That is super cute! You have a wild side!
We miss you here but hope to see you sometime soon. The dood was distributing his furs all over the guest bed waiting for you to snorgle him! Isabella looks rather wild too with the leopard print behind her!

Oh no, I wondered why you cancelled and now I know. What a shame. I'm happy that it's getting fixed.

I know your babies are glad you're home for the holiday weekend.

Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your hard working mom. ♥♥♥

Sorry about the book, but glad you have your Mom home with you. I think that is great that your Mom is stepping outside the box. I usually wear black and gray, but recently bought some red ballet flats- I am too chicken to wear them though :)

That is way too bad about the book. And about the trip getting cancelled but it will be fun once the Mom can go there. We want to read the book. We enjoyed all the posts about Mister. Such a cute rabbit.

I think that's a cool shirt! It sets off your furs really nicely - does it look that nice on your mom?
I tried on one of Cam's pink collars, but it wasn't me. I felt really out of character.
Yours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher

Too bad about those books and the postponed trip. Love that shirt. Nothing new here, it's been the same old everything :)

We heard about the book problems. That really sucks! But then again...it keeps your mom at home. We're always looking for the silver lining in that dark cloud. :)

The shirt is wonderful!! You can return to your black wardrobe for next winter - meantime, let the colors come!

That is pretty miserable about the book printing. Very frustrating.

To bad about the trip being canceled but you will be able to have fun with your human mom now. That is a cute shirt with all those giraffes. I recently went "very short" with my hair style and love it.

love the 'wild' side of you - ha! I wear mostly black as well :) I've been trying to mix it up lately with coral and tans - I know, really exciting of me ha, ha!
