Reluctant Happy Halloween!

The resident Halloween colored Tortie is sleeping so guess who gets to pose with the pumpkin. Yep, me. The one who hates trick or treaters ringing the doorbell so much we turn out all the lights so no one comes to our door except those who have no clue what no lights on means. Oh well, by Sunday the day will be over for another year so I'll pose but I'm still not happy about it...
Are you like my sisfur Isabella and don't even notice doorbells or scary sticky people or do you despise Halloween and delivery trucks like I do? If you leave your lights on, what treats are your peeps handing out?

Hope you have a doorbell free weekend!
Angel

PeeS: Isabella appreciates all the purrs for her trip to the vet. She's feeling better today.

PeePeeS: Happy Birthday Leasa!

Sammy hates doorbells as much as Angel does, while Sumi is curious as to who's on the other side :)

I bet I would enjoy meeting all those little humans on Halloween! But the humans don't do the human kitten treat thing, so I guess I'll never find out.

I really hate any sudden loud noises and this time of year there are always fireworks going off! And scary people in witches hats and things makes me run UTB!! It's not a happy time :(

We don't do Halloween, partly because of Derry and partly just because it's one holiday the biped thinks is absurd and truly dislikes. :-P

We hope you don't get any doorbell-ringers!

I can so relate Angel. Little Bit didn't like the doorbell either.

We'll be hiding on the boat and there won't be any lights on at our house either.

Have a purrfect day and weekend. My best to your wonderful mom. ♥♥♥

My kitties usually run (Hobbes growls) at the doorbell, but after a few trick or treaters, they get sort of over it ....and curious. Hobbes will be outside, I'm sure, watching all of the activity from behind the safety of the bushes.

Last year, we didn't have but a handful of kids. I'm hoping for the same this year. I have turned into such a grump for some reason.

You definitely do not look thrilled...I live in an apartment building, so not small sticky people.

Mommy does;t let me nor Admiral when she was here, nor herself get disturbed. She is not liking Halloween at all. Never did, never will.

Our little girl doesn't like it when people come to the door either... good thing we don't get more than a few neighbor kids.

Due to several factors, like the fear of loose Siberians ... oh, right. Make that "especially the fear of loose Siberians ... we turn off the lights. We don't mind doorbells and such, but yes, given the opportunity, we could very well bolt through an open door.

Nice posing, Ange.

Ciara loves all company so she won't be bothered as long as they don't bring any firecrackers. Lightning will be a surprise - sometimes he is fine, other times he just gets scared.

Happy Halloween.

I can tell by that look how you feel about Halloween. We're not passing out candy. All that doorbell ringing will have Gibbs barking his head off. It'll be bad enough just having all those people walking up and down the street. It's going to be a noisy night

Happy Doorbell Free Halloween Angel and Isabella! May the only house you wish to be in that is related to Halloween be your new Haunted House! We don't like doorbells either and will be safely tucked in our beds when our humans get a few sticky humans in costumes. Luckily it's supposed to rain so hopefully it will be few out and about. That's one benefit of being OR kitties!

We never get trick or treaters way out here in the country. We do get deliveries and that is absolute chaos. The sound of a vehicle driving up sets the dogs roaring and cats scrambling for cover.
