It's the End of the Month

It's June 30th which means today is Mommy's last day as a salaried CPA (the accountant kind) and now can work full time as our CPA (Cat's Purrsonal Assistant)!  We'll have more time to for playing and also watching videos like Mister's - our bunny friend from Facebook...
Wait, what'd you say Mommy?  You'll still be working part time as a CPA (the accountant kind) so won't be a full-time CPA (the Purrsonal Assistant kind)?  Why weren't we consulted?  Shouldn't we have a vote in this decision?  *sigh*  Oh well, guess the green papers (although a lot less) will help buy us more treats!

June 30th is also the last day of Adopt A Shelter Cat month so if you've been thinking of bringing a kitty into your home, now is a great time!  There are lots of cats and kittens out there waiting for their furever home so check out the shelters and rescues in your area and you might just find the purrfect new member of your family!

Remember, any time is a good time to adopt a cat or a woofie so we think every month should be Adopt A Shelter Pet month!

Is there anything June 30th signifies in your household?

Hope today is the beginning of something wonderful for you!

Smile! It's Sadieday!

We're still getting back to our routines but we know today is a day to smile!  Mommy saw some funny signs in Alaska so we thought we'd share some.  After visiting two sled dog places, she said pretty much everything is peed on (although it didn't happen to her)...
This sign says "Dog Team Parking - Please scoop the poop" and it's funny because of what the dog looks like it's doing.  Hee hee...
The sled dogs had 'couches' to lay on.  This is 13 year old Martina enjoying hers...
Does that look kinda familiar?
Did you notice the paws?  Sadie was definitely a sled dog who much preferred pulling Mommy when she was on the leash instead of a whole sled!

We hope these made you smile!  Be sure to spread those smiles around since you never know who's day you'll change just by your smile!

Enjoy your Sadieday and have a great weekend!

If anybody wants to come up the stairs, they must pay the price...
The price is Tortie tummy rubs...
I'm waiting...
It's a tough job being the stair master but somekitty's got to do it.

Hope you get plenty of tummy rubs today!

Same But Different

Angel, you sure have a big floofy tail...
Do you have extensions hidden in there...
Nope, guess not...
Bet you can't curl it like mine though...
Whether floofy, curled, stubby or long, everybody is unique in some way.  It's what makes us all special!

What is unique about you?

Enjoy your day!

PeeS:  Happy Birthday to our Grandma from Las Vegas!  We hope you have a wonderful day!

Alaskan Woofies on Wednesday

After a really long trip home involving a delayed flight from Fairbanks causing them to miss their connection in Seattle and spending the night in Sea-Tac airport, Mommy and Daddy are finally home and thankfully, without a puppy!  But, as we were looking through their pictures we found out even though they were on a cruise, they were around a lot of woofies up there in Alaska!  The first one was a bulldog who appeared in their room the first night...
But then they met sled dogs that reminded them of our sisfur Sadie in Skagway.  They are at the Gold Rush Dog Sled Tours and have ran the Iditarod with Matt Hayashida...
This puppy may run the Iditarod one day too...
In Denali they met even more puppies at 4 time Iditarod champion Jeff King's Husky Homestead...
Including little Louisa...
Even we admit they're kinda cute like this little two week old yet unnamed baby...
Clipper really reminded them of our sisfur Sadie...
Especially when she did this...
Anyway, we hope they got their fill of woofies since we're not ready for another woofie in our house just yet. Maybe one day we'll change our mind but not yet.

We're getting back to normal around here and we're sure helping them get caught up on all the sleep they lost thanks to 24 hours of sunlight in Alaska then a sleepless night in Seattle.  We'll do our best to get caught up with everyone soon though!

Enjoy your day!

Cat World Domination Day (on Tortie Tuesday of course!)

It's Tortie Tuesday and also Cat World Domination Day!  Coincidence?  I think not!  Anyway, Mommy and Daddy got home last night so I'm going to spend the day soaking up well deserved attention from my Daddy...
I'll also be checking out our friend Sparkle's celebration of Cat World Domination Day plus her birthday!
Be sure to stop by and wish her a Happy Birthday!  Okay now Daddy, more scritches a little to the left please...
I love being a Daddy's Girl!

Hope you enjoy your Tortie Tuesday!

Tortie Tuesday

I couldn't let Tortie Tuesday pass even though Mommy isn't here so my Grandpa from Kansas is going to help me blog today.
Oh My Cod Grandpa!  How am I supposed to do anything with you giving me awesome tummy scritches like that?
And also rubbing my face like that?
Well, sorry everybuddy but I've got scritches and spoiling to get from Grandpa so no time to blog today!

Hope everybody is doing well!  We'll be back next Tortie Tuesday!
Enjoy the rest of the week!

Uh Oh! Something's Up!

I'm pretty sure something is up around here and it involves whatever is inside this little black bag.  To prevent something from being up, I gotta hold it down...
I even recruited the big guns and had Isabella help hold it down too...
She's perfect for the job...
Hey, wait a minute, our Grandpa from Kansas is here?  That's way better than whatever is up in this little black bag!
We're going to be spoilt by our Grandpa from Kansas while our Mommy and Daddy take the little black bag on a cruise to Alaska.  Since we will be enjoying our time with Grandpa while they're gone, we're going to have to take a blogcation.

We'll miss everybody but we'll be back soon!

Taste Test - Somekitty Has To Do It!

We got a box from Chewy.com a few weeks ago but we only just now got to check it out...
They also have a Tuna and Cranberries Recipe which you can also order from Chewy.com.  Wellness Kittles Grain Free crunchy treats are:

  • 100% Natural fun shaped treats
  • No meat by-products, wheat, corn, soy or artificial flavors, colors or preservatives
  • Under 2 calories per treat - Over 150 treats per bag!
  • Made in the U.S.A.!
But most importantly, they smell yummy...

And taste yummy too...
We both give them four paws up!  Angel really loved them and got extra since she kept stealing mine.  Mommy likes that they are grain free and made in the U.S.A. so hopefully that means we'll both be getting lots of these treats in the future!

Have you checked out Chewy.com lately?  If not, be sure to do so to see their great selection of food, treats, toys and even litter!  They deliver it directly to your door and can auto ship too so you never run out of all the important stuff we need!  Orders over $49 ship for free!

Have you tried these treats before?

Hope you taste something yummy today too!
Isabella

Disclaimer:  We received two bags of Wellness Kittles treats for free from Chewy.com and weren't compensated in any other way.  This did not influence our review since we like what we like!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday!  A day for this Tortie to relax while showing everyone my beautiful Tortieness...
Hey Angel!  Did you not get the memo on what day it is again?
I really need to send her multiple memos so maybe she'll get at least one.  Sheesh.
Hope nobody interrupts your relaxing Tortie Tuesday!

Weekend Wrap Up

We hope you had a great weekend!  We napped all day Sadieday since Mommy and Daddy abandoned us to go to the coast for sun and beach fun.  Do you think we got any tuna or big birdies or anything for that matter?  Nope. Nada. Zilch.  To top it off, they spent yesterday cleaning out closets for stuff to be donated.  There's boxes everywhere!  Can you see me?
Can you see me now?
I'm hanging out here because I wanna know why this book is in the donate box...
It's says there's 50 recipes of goodies just for us!  How come we were only allowed to turn our noses up at 4 of them?  Don't we get a chance to turn down the other 46?  What if there's one we actually like?  How will we ever know if we don't get to try them?
At least it's going to a thrift shop benefiting the humane society so other animals will benefit since we don't get to benefit from maybe finding the yummiest goodies ever since Mommy gave up way too fast.  She's a spoilsport.

Do you get homemade treats?  What's your favorite?

Hope you enjoy a treat filled day!

PeeS:  The suitcase is emptied finally too!

Remembering a Special Woofie on Sadieday

Last month our woofie friend Whisky from the Furries of Whisppy joined our sisfur Sadie at the Bridge.  Although it broke our hearts that she had to go, we know she met up with Sadie and started dishing the dirt about living with kitties because Whisky lived with a whole herd of kitties including her little Tortie sisfur Tutu!  Whisky loved her kitty furblings so we had a huge soft spot in our hearts for her and wanted to do something special for her mom.  We had Edi from Memories for Life engrave a pendant of Whisky and we made a necklace...
Of course our resident Tortie gave it the patented Tortie Taste Test...
We used pink beads because they reminded us of Whisky and her lovely mom too...
The back of the pendant has Whisky's name on it.
Uh, Angel, we can't see it...
I was just pointing it out!  Is it my fault my feets are so floofy?  Sheesh!  Sometimes supermodels just aren't appreciated...
Anyway, we're glad we were able to make this special necklace in memory of Whisky.  We know there was a guiding paw helping us with it too...
After a delay by the post office, the necklace has been delivered to Whisky's mom in Malaysia.  We hope it brings her smiles and happy memories of her sweet girl Whisky!

We hope you have lots to smile about this Sadieday too!  Be sure to spread those smiles around because you never know who's day you'll change by that smile!

Enjoy your Sadieday and weekend!

PeeS:  If you'd like information on personalized pendant necklaces too, please check out our shop here.
