Alaskan Woofies on Wednesday

After a really long trip home involving a delayed flight from Fairbanks causing them to miss their connection in Seattle and spending the night in Sea-Tac airport, Mommy and Daddy are finally home and thankfully, without a puppy!  But, as we were looking through their pictures we found out even though they were on a cruise, they were around a lot of woofies up there in Alaska!  The first one was a bulldog who appeared in their room the first night...
But then they met sled dogs that reminded them of our sisfur Sadie in Skagway.  They are at the Gold Rush Dog Sled Tours and have ran the Iditarod with Matt Hayashida...
This puppy may run the Iditarod one day too...
In Denali they met even more puppies at 4 time Iditarod champion Jeff King's Husky Homestead...
Including little Louisa...
Even we admit they're kinda cute like this little two week old yet unnamed baby...
Clipper really reminded them of our sisfur Sadie...
Especially when she did this...
Anyway, we hope they got their fill of woofies since we're not ready for another woofie in our house just yet. Maybe one day we'll change our mind but not yet.

We're getting back to normal around here and we're sure helping them get caught up on all the sleep they lost thanks to 24 hours of sunlight in Alaska then a sleepless night in Seattle.  We'll do our best to get caught up with everyone soon though!

Enjoy your day!

After seeing all those photos of your human with puppies, I am really surprised she did not come home with one! You kitties should thank your lucky stars!

24 hours of sunlight in Alaska. How do people sleep?

Your Mommy and Daddy certainly met a lot of cute little puppies while on their cruise. But we understand about not being ready for another woofie in the house.

wow, your mom has got super powers to be able to come home without one of those puppies. I bet that was a lot of fun though. Maybe not the sleepless in Seattle part but all the rest

Happy to hear your Mommy and Daddy arrived home safely, but sorry about the delay! What a hassle.
Those woofies are adorable...I'm surprised your Mommy didn't come home with one!

I bet the best part of the trip was visiting with all those dogs that reminded your mom of Sadie. So glad they made it back home safely!

Is there anything cuter than a 2 week old puppy?!? No offense girls :)
Make sure your mommy and daddy get some good rest now that they're home.

The tiny puppy is too cute for words. I know your mommy and daddy had fun but I'm sure they are thrilled to be home with the two of you

Such a great vacation - too bad it got a little messed up at the end - Oh but the woofies - so beautiful!

Oh look at all those cute puppies. I'd be in doggy heaven for sure.

I'm so happy you are home and had a great time. Not as happy as Angel and Isabella, but pretty close.

Have a fabulous day. Scritches to the babies. ♥♥♥

Whew! You can now breathe a sigh of relief - they are home again without a woofie. I can't think of a worse surprise to bring home as a prezzie!

Your mom must have had some real willpower not to bring one of those cute woofies home.

All those cute puppies! I don't know how you resisted! I bet it's nice to be home! Hope you're caught up on your sleep. Love & Stuff, Moon xoxo

We know how happy you two are to have your humans home. As ours always say, better to have your trip messed up at the end than at the beginning. Your mom sure looked happy holding all those adorable woofies. We think you are pretty lucky she didn't bring one home with her. Kitties Blue from The Cat on My Head is holding a giveaway for an appliquéd, feline flag. XO, Lily Olivia, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth, Mauricio, Misty May and Calista Jo
