Bloglovin'

We're trying to figure out Bloglovin' since so many of our friends are going to use it after Google Reader goes away tomorrow.  Did anyone get a "Favicon" when trying to get the widget onto your blog?  Ours hit in the header and although we've removed it, it still shows in the layout.  How do you get it to go away?  We're not very technical at all - we're just purrty!   Thank you!

We aren't using Bloglovin so we can't help you. Bloglovin doesn't offer some features that the mom likes so we're using Feedly instead.

We did put the Bloglovin widget on our blog but didn't have any problems with doing so.

I wish I knew what you are talking about - I installed bloglovin about 2 weeks ago - had no problem with the widget - don't understand what you mean by a bloglovin favicon...

No, I didn't get a Favicon. I simply added the HTML code to my sidebar...

I'm using Feedly and all looks well. The bloglovin' widget looks like it's right above the follow me through email address box. HTH

Mommy's using Feedly. But between you purrty girls and us, we don't think she's really figured Feedly out either! MOL.

I'm using/trying both BlogLovin' and Feedly, but I have to be honest and say that I don't like either of them all that much. I loved Reader, and still can't understand the need to 'retire' it. It was so straight-forward and user friendly. And one of the best features I loved about it was that I could share/send blog posts to other friends if I wanted to, via regular plain ol' e-mail. None of this Twitter or Facebook or Google * mullarkey.

Anyone using any other alternatives now that Google Reader has bitten the dust? Someone mentioned 'The Old Reader' but I don't think that's free and I think there's a limited amount of blogs you can sub to (I sub to nearly 200 of them!!!), and there's another called FeedReeder or Reeder (there's so many now I can't keep up with them), but what I'm looking for is something as close to Google Reader as possible.

BlogLovin' and Feedly don't do it for me, but they'll have to do...for now.

I didn't care much for bloglovin so I'm using feedly. I don't think I even added the bloglovin widget. I'm just no help sorry

Is Google reader the same as Google Friend Connect? I'm so confused! Maybe I should go ahead and add Feedly just in case--it seems easiest, but I don't WANT to!

It's been cool weather here. I feel for you though, when it's so hot, I don't feel like doing anything either.

We have been trying both The Old Reader and Feedly. The Old Reader is very similar to GR. So far it is free and we have more than 200 blogs in ours.

Sorry - we're using NetNewsWire. It's all so confusing!

Mum is struggling with what to use and is getting all mixed up trying. Just hoping we don't lose lots friends like we did when we lost the blog roll from the blog. Took us ages to find people. Hugs GJ x
