Weekend Wrap Up

We hope everybuddy had a nice, long holiday weekend!  We had an okay weekend since we were missing our sisfur Sadie so much.  She loved turkey even more than we do so it was sad she wasn't here with us but we know she is always with us in spirit.  We did have a smile on our face on Sadieday because of Sasha and Gizmo's Sadieday stroll here.  We loved seeing those happy woofies strolling on Sadieday!

Yesterday though, our neighbor's 17 year old dog had to go to the Rainbow Bridge but we didn't know until Pepper's dad drove her away and her mom fell to her knees in their driveway wailing and sobbing.  Our mommy recognized that pain so figured out what happened and went outside to comfort her.  They both ended up sitting in the driveway hugging and bawling.  All the other neighbors probably thought they were bonkers since they didn't know what was going on but we're glad Mommy was there for her since she knows how Pepper's mom feels.

Anyway, we did get a lot done this weekend.  We helped make a tennis bracelet, some Tortie (tigers eye) earrings and also a necklace in memory of a special Mancat...
Don't worry, we also got in plenty of naps whenever we could...
We're going to have another busy week because our Grandpa is coming on Friday so we will be getting ready for him to come spoil visit us!

We hope your week is a good one!
Angel

PeeS:  We'll be putting Mommy's BeadedTail shop on vacation December 3rd-7th so if you'd like a custom item before Christmas, please let us know before December 2nd.  Thank you!

I am so sad for your neighbors, and for your human too, because I am sure all the pain of losing Sadie came back to her. If I had any wish, it would be that we four-legged companions could live as long as you humans do!

That is so sad about the neighbor's dog. We know that your Mom felt sad too about losing Sadie. It is always in our minds. Our Mom still cries about Jasmine. But they are all running around like puppies up in that doggie heaven. Have a great week.

This time of year was always Cleo's favorite too .... you could barely get around with kitchen without her right there hopeful something would slip off the counter and come her way! So great that you were there for Pepper's mom. I remember this day and how I tried not to cry so Cleo wouldn't be afraid. It was 2 years this Christmas. So this time of year is hard for us.

I'm not looking forward to the bridge for our Little Bit. Not one bit. I'll be bawling my head off too.

Don't let your mom work you too hard Angel. I'm just saying.

Have a purrfect day filled with naps. My best to your mom. :)

So sad to hear about your neighbors dog. It was very sweet of your mom to comfort her. I bet that Sadie was there on the other side of the bridge waiting to welcome Pepper.

You have been busy haven't you. Love your mom's items at the Beaded Tail. M keeps saying she needs to do some serious shopping there.

That is so sad about Pepper, but what a long life she had! Saying goodbye is so hard. Of course the tears flowed for Mom when we lost Dakota, but she says she will never forget the sobbing and crying from our Dad as they both said their last good bye to her. Tough on those that stay behind even though they know they are doing what is best for the beloved pet. Hugs to your Mom and your neighbors.

Oh no. Poor Pepper's Mom! It's so hard to lose an animal friend...I'm just glad that you could be there for her. I'm sure she appreciated that hug. Sometimes people don't understand how bad that hurts unless they have loved and lost an animal friend of their own.

Holidays are tough for missing those we love. ((hugs))
