Spreading Love on Sadieday

We remembered too late that August 17th was Black Cat Appreciation Day but we still want to take the time to spread the word that all cats (and woofies) deserve loving furever homes no matter what color their fur is.  Our sisfur Sadie knew this because when she became a part of this family, two of her sisfurs had black furs.  Her sisfur KC was a black chow mix...
And her sisfur Panther was a long haired black kitty...
There's no photos of Sadie and Panther together because unlike us, Panther didn't like woofies so didn't get within 5 feet of one.  Of course Sadie and KC did things together like go to the beach...
Can you spot KC in the Sadie Utility Vehicle (SUV)?
Help us spread the word that black kitties and woofies make wonderful pets with lots of love to give!  Sadie knew this and we do too!

Have a Happy Sadieday and weekend!  Spread some smiles today!

Come to think of it, Mommy has never had a pure black pet...it wasn't on purpose, it just somehow happened that way. Hmmmm....
Puppy Sadie has such HUGE feet. :) Perhaps one Sadieday could be about how Sadie came to join the family? We don't remember reading about it...

Nice of you to think of all those black pets who need homes. KC looks a lot like Tsar from The Portuguese Water Dog Blog.

And oh how we love that puppy pic of sweet Sadie! We will be thinking of her on our SadieDay Stroll later today.

Oh, I love, love, LOVE the pix of Sadie and KC!!! Our great brother Booter was an all-black puppy and from what Stormy and Ammy told me, he was one special guy!
I tried to find Fluffy Black Cat to wish her a happy Black Cat Day, but I couldn't find her. I hope to run into her over the weekend!
Play bows,

Oh goodie, a puppy picture of Sadie. She was so cute. We love Black kitties and didn't know about Black kitty day. We will just do a post sometime this week for the heck of it and try to help some black kitties find homes that need them.
Yes we see KC in the Sadie UV. Hope all of you have a great day.

Black is a great fur color for both kitties and woofies!
I had a black cat when I was a kid--Midnight, but we called her Blackie. She was a wonderful cat! My daughter has a sweet black male cat named Edward Bunk. Before that, she had Cy (who sadly disappeared and never returned).
It's so fun to see Sadie and KC--and Panther--on your blog.
