Mommy Knows Best

My mommy is a professional worry wart.  It's just what she is and nothing we can do can stop her from worrying for no reason.  Well, I am an explorer so I always push the limits so the other day when I wanted to check out something in the closet in her office, I ignored her warning me not to...
No matter what she says I'm not stopping...
She's getting a tad bit louder in her warning but so what, I want to explore...
Turns out the next step was a doozy.  There's no photographic proof of what came next but let's just say my exploration came to an abrupt end with a crash onto the floor.  I fell onto cushions so I didn't get hurt but as much as I hate to admit it, Mommy was right (this time).

Do you push the limits in your house?  Are your beans worry warts too?

Hope you have an adventurous day!
Angel

I do worry leaving Sammy home alone, but when I'm there he doesn't explore much (thank goodness). It's a different story with Molly alltogether... ;-)

I am a total adventure cat!! Hammy wishes he was, but his legs are too little to jump as high as me. He keeps wishing for a helicopter, but till he gets one I get to be the adventure cat in the place!

Tutu pushes Mommy over the limit every single day. Mommy says she's never had this much trouble with any of us until Tutu came along. She sure knows how to keep Mommy on her toes! The only time Mommy can relax is when Tutu is with her. Otherwise, every little sound, will have her jumping up and running down to check on the Monster.

Oh yes... Edward pushes the limits all the time (there is a reason, you know, that he has no tail - just didn't look out for that car!)!
Stay safe!

PS Still missing Sadie with you all...

Was your mommy laughing too hard to get a photo of the "after" effect :)
Harley did this the other day rolling around on the couch. I told him he was gonna flop himself on the floor...and he did!

Your Mommy sounds like our Mommy! Deli is the daredevil in our house. No matter how many times Mommy asks her not to go into the cupboards under the sink, she still goes.

Our human's a paranoid fool. :-)

But then, I (Nicki) do tend to push the limits once in a while (read every day), so she gets a lots of practice at that paranoia.

I must admit that my kitties are pretty good about obeying - when I say "down" they usually comply - except sometimes!

Oh man! Ours are right there with you Angel! Lucy loves to push the limits of her own jumping abilities often coming to a crash landing....but, who said life was to be lived looking up from the ground?

We don't push limits much, but Salem LOVES to push stuff...mostly off the counters! Scares the bejeebers outta Mommy in the middle of the night.

Yep, you can push the envelope only so far and then it happens. A big crash and you scare yourself silly. Admit it. It scared you.

You mom is going to worry. I can so relate.

Have a purrfect day. Scritches to you and my best to your mom. :)

Oh Angel, we are sorry that you fell. Our Mommy is a big worrier too. So we just sneak around behind her back when we can. Glad you are OK Angel. Have a great day.

My mom says I push the limits sometimes too but I have no idea what she's talking about. I'm always the perfectly behaved Westie.

Do birds fly, Angel? Mr. Lightning is the master of pushing the limits. But Mom does think he is finally starting to settle down. We are so glad you had cushions to break your fall. Our Mom is a worrywart too, we think it is one of the qualifications for being a parent:)

Have a great week and be careful.

I only really worry about Grace now that she is older. She isn't as confident in her jumping/climbing skills as she used to be and you can see her hesitate mid-jump. That always worries me. But she is taking Cosequin and that is helping--you can see it in her confidence.

Glad you survived your escapade! Don't scare Mommeh like that, silly!

Yes Peanut ALWAYS pushes her limits, I think she is a bit goofy but we love her. Now Skitto she lays around all the time since she has gotten older, she falls allot now so she knows her limits, poor baby. God bless her she is still hanging on with us. So Angel we are sooooo glad to hear you landed on the cushions lil girl, you better be careful, lol yea right!!

Have a wonderful day ALL of you :-)

My Mom is a worry wart too! I push the limits all the time - I think I'm smaller than I really am and that causes a lot of trouble. Glad you were OK - I'd kiss your boo-boo if you weren't! Love, Moon xoxo

Angel doesn't push the limits too often, but I've had cats that would on a regular basis. You're right that sometimes mommy does know best.

Nah, I don't climb a lot but I do like to curl up in places Mommy doesn't want me to -- like her yarn basket.

Why don't kids - those with fur and those not with fur - listen to the moms? We really do know what's best. Glad you weren't hurt Angel!
