Even though I'm an indoor kitty that doesn't mean I'm not a hunter.  Every night I deaded my toy mousies and take them to Mommy for her to find in the morning.  Occasionally I have to deaded some live prey too like a vishus fly.  I first sneak up on it...
Then I corral it before it has a chance to make a getaway...
When it's time to deaded it I take it behind the couch to avoid everybuddy seeing the gruesome end...
Hey hold on there vishus fly, where do you think you're going?
Well you little stinker!  What'd you go under there for?
Uh, that was just a demonstration so that vishus fly was lucky this time!  I really am a Mighty Hunter!

Enjoy your Fursday!
Angel

Even the mightiest hunter can't catch them all!

Hunting is fun! I believe you are a mighty hunter, even if that one did get away.

Oh my goodness of COURSE you are a Mighty Hunter. I knew that even befre this proof positive was presented. Those flies are very vishus and you must be careful not to let it see you before you ded it. By the way, I also ded my mousies and bring them into mommy..but I sing along the way and talk about it once I get it in place on the floor by the bed. But mom said my vouice is so small and tiny and expressive she always smiles even though I woke her up.

Hey Angel, maybe you could share a few tips on hunting, because Sammy doesn't even see the flies let alone catches any ;-)

Angel, we are sure you are the best indoor pest control Mom could ask for. We try to take care of the outside here:)

That vishus fly will be back - keep your eyes open.

We believe you, Angel! We'll catch house flies, but they're gross, we don't eat 'em. However, we highly recommend moths!

It's the best day ever when a fly gets in the house here too! My Lucy LOVEs to hunt it down and then Langley usually sneaks in when it's time to EAT it. LOL.

We definitely believe that you are a mighty hunter, Angel! Even indoor cats have to do some dirty work sometimes.

Angel you are so tough. My Milo is a pretty tough hunter although sometimes he gets a little scared and has to meow and hide in the middle of his hunt :)

You ARE a mighty hunter Angel! Flies are fast and hard to catch. I bet your Mom appreciates you doing that. Love, Moon

Well, I was thinking that you come over to rid the house of any vishus flies that have sneaked in--my kids don't like them at all--but seeing as how you, uhmm, let this one get away i might have to ask Isabella:)

Nice work, Angel! I believe that you are a good hunter n__n
Maybe you can remind my kitty how fun it is to catch flies. There's been one in the house today and so far he has done a great job at ignoring it completely ;)

excellent demonstration. I totally understand that you most likely don't want to reveal all your Mighty hunter secrets. :)

Lin said... May 3, 2012 at 5:55 PM

Yeah, but do you eat it? My kitties don't eat them, but I used to have a kitty who was good about that. I didn't kiss her on the lips very much after I saw her do that.

It's a good thing that vishus fly ran and hid...it didn't stand a chance against you, the mighty hunter!
