It's Monday Already?

The holiday weekend went by way too fast! Mommy is back at work and Daddy is back in school so I have to figure out what to do. Our Christmas tree is still naked so I can't even play with the ornaments... I guess I'm just going to have to lay here and look cute!

Helping: Kitty Style...

I like to help Mommy with her beading although for some reason she gets very nervous when I do. I think it's because she's worried I'll over-do it and tire myself out. Anyway, an example of her worry wart tendencies came out when we needed to make an adjustment to a bracelet. I tried to look distracted in order to put her at ease... Then I walked by the bracelet to better give her an idea of how much to adjust it by...
Again, I tried to look distracted by pretending to bite on the thing-a-ma-bobs in her bead box... I then tested the sturdyness of her board thing-a-ma-jig to make sure the beads don't break through it...
See, there was no reason for her to be nervous with my help was there? Beading is hard work though so I'll just lay here and warm my Tortie booty in the sunlight...
I should certainly get extra treats for working so hard on the weekend!

Happy Sadieday!

It's Sadieday and it finally quit raining which means Mommy has been busy spending the daylight strolling hours getting things done like picking up leaves and getting a Christmas tree. Yeah, her priorities are totally messed up. When she wanted to take photos of me, well, I was just too busy...
She tried again outside but nope, I'm still too busy... I'm busy doing things like watching for kitties so no photo session for me...
I might not be too busy if treats were involved though... Did you say okay Mommy?
I'm never too busy for Yummy Chummies!
Now if only she could get un-busy so we can go on a Sadieday stroll in the daylight instead of the dark. Oh well, any stroll is better than no stroll!

PeeS: I'm still limping a little but I'm taking a new chewy pill called Dasuquin with MSM that we heard about from our friend Sugar here that seems to be helping. We'll know more in another week or so but hopefully it means I'll be back to normal very soon!

Black Furiday!

We hope all our U.S. friends enjoyed Thanksgiving yesterday! We sure did! After the feast, I offered to sit on the Tortie-colored kitchen counter. Any guesses as to why?
Clean up duty of course!

We hope efurryone enjoyed Sadie's self-proclaimed extended Sadieday weekend! We put our day off yesterday to good use and enjoyed some whiffs of cold, fresh air...
And of course we watched the Birdie Network in 3D...

It's Sadieday All Weekend!

My favorite day Sadieday is going to span two days this weekend because I decided to give Mommy Sunday off! I'm such a Good Girl! We're still going to go on a Sadieday stroll and it's rainy and cold here so grab a jacket (not an umbrella since you'll look like a tourist) and let's go!
It's only sprinkling right now which is perfect for a stroll...
But it doesn't take long for it to start raining a little more which makes Mommy walk faster as you can tell by the blur... Whoa! We're really movin' now!
We went so fast I don't even think I got wet... I'm having so much fun that even though I'm stopped my tail is still a blur...
I hope you had fun too! I also hope you enjoy the extended version of Sadieday! Be sure to get out and about today even if it's raining since a little rain may make your hair poof up like Mommy's but it won't dampen the fun!

Getting It Right!

Imagine my surprise when I woke up yesterday to find that Mommy messed up my WORDLESS Wednesday post by labeling it that it was my birthday! Only she can mess up a WORDLESS post! I did receive lots of nice birthday wishes though but my birthday isn't until December 15th so I felt bad for her making my readers think it was yesterday. Her only explanation was that she has a full plate and is really tired. Well, I wish I had a full plate, preferably full of steak, and if she was really tired, she'd nap all day like my sisfurs do instead of working on the computer. Anyway, I was able to get some treats out of the deal...
I better get cake and ice cream for my real birthday next month!

On another note, several of my friends have asked how my foot is and I wanted to let you know that I'm still limping a little. I still get on the bed to make sure my kitty sisfurs have treats on the nightstand so it's when I jump down from doing this important duty or from getting up after taking a long nap when I limp the most. It's not stopping me from doing anything because I'm not in pain. I do feel all warm and fuzzy because I am warm and fuzzy of your concern so thank you very much!

Oops! It's not my birthday today! Mommy made a mistake using the wrong tag on my post so sorry for that. (Only she could mess up a WORDLESS post!) My birthday is December 15th so there's still plenty of time for her to get me presents!

PeeS: Mommy says thanks for the well wishes on the craft show! It started out slow the first day but ended much better on the second day so it was all worth it. She's been trying to sell more so we can use the proceeds to buy foods and toys for the animals in shelters at Christmas!
