Stroll with Sadie

It's Sadieday, the bestest day of the week! I always look forward to strolls on Sadieday but sometimes they happen very late but I guess better late than never right? I'd love for you to come on a late night stroll with me so if you aren't a Husky, grab a jacket and let's go! Since it's obviously dark, I have to keep my mommy on a leash so she doesn't run away in case something jumps out of the bushes (she's a big chicken). I'll check for skeery things though. Nothing hiding in here...
There may be flying deers up here though! Ha roo!
It's really dark out (when the pawpawrazzi's flash isn't going off) so we don't really know what's lurking around us... Do you see that something ghostly is hanging around me making it look foggy out and making my eyes green!
This was taken a few seconds later and there's no ghost fogginess and my eyes aren't green!
Needless to say, that was enough for Mommy get us home pronto...
Mommy's a spoilsport. If it was a ghost I say the more who join our stroll the merrier! I hope you enjoyed it while it lasted!

Enjoy your Sadieday!
Sadie

PeeS: My foot is better most of the time but after strolls I do limp more. It doesn't stop me from jumping around and turning circles when it's treat time!

That may have been kind of a scary stroll for your human, but I liked it! After all, we kitties see pretty good in the dark!

You guys sure are daring to walk when it's that dark. Are you still on meds for your foot?

Yea! Sadieday!!! I love strolling with you, dark or light!
you know that "flying deer" sign? Our mom says it's a "deer crossing" sign. Here's my question-- how in the WORLD do the deers know to cross the street there?!? Silly mom! Deers wouldn't know to cross at the sign - it MUST mean flying deer!!!

That was a fun stroll in the dark! That flying deer sign maybe there in anticipation of Santa coming next month. I love your "ghost eyes," Sadie. :)

Do you think I can use this walk as an excuse not to start my cleaning? Probably not, but it's worth a shot.

Thanks for a fun stroll and have a Happy Sadieday!

Oh, I'd be scared to go out when it is dark. We have an increase in the skunk population here this year and all of our dog friends are getting "skunked"!! Be careful, Sadie!
