Purrfessional At Work...

Recently my sisfur Isabella showed you how she stays warm on cold mornings but she's an amateur compared to me. I'm a purrfessional warmer upper so I thought I'd show you some of my techniques. First, it's impawtant to get your belly toasty...
Then start warming up your side...
You can even add some back leg stretches at this point...
Be sure to rest if you feel the need...
Now it's time to heat up your back and do a whole body stretch. Be careful, this is a very advanced move...
Oh, ignore the fact that I have morning fur. I haven't had time to give my belly a bath yet today...
After finishing your stretches, don't forget to warm up your other side...
After seeing my techniques I'm sure it's obvious that Isabella is at the very basic level of staying warm compared to a purrfessional like me.
Hey there Isabella. How long have you been sitting there?
I was just noticing that, uh, uh, I can touch my back toe when I'm in this pawsition...
Phew! That was close! I think I'll just lay here quietly and enjoy the warmth...
Hope you enjoy your day too!
Angel

Angel, you definitely know how to work every part of yourself over that heater vent. Great techniques. Do you think Isabella was watching you to pick up some of your moves?

Great job Angel. I think you fooled Isabella. She thinks you were just stretching. Hope she doesn't try to steal your spot.

What pawsome exercises. You are very strechty! Oh, Isabella was obviously watching to get some pointers from you on the wonderful exercise program!

Angel, that was very impressive! You definitely ARE a purrfessional--you could have your own TV show or maybe DVD to instruct others!

Angel, you are so funny, but we do think you found the toastiest place in the house. We like that air vent in the summer when it blows cool air:)

It has always fascinated me how cats can stretch and twist in the way they do. It is almost like they do not have bones.

If my cats try that little warming routine they get moved, right quick! Cats have furs, we humans do not, we need that heat more than you! The rule in our house regarding the heat vents? Hover, don't cover!

You definitely look like a purrfessional to me, Angel! It looks like maybe Isabella wants to learn? ;)

Very smart furbaby to know how impurtant it is to stay warm, exercise, and rest. Oh, and that was a furry good lesson for Isabella, who I think might have rolled her eyes ...

I love it...why share the heat with any of the humans?

Angel, you sure do know your moves. Love the front foot touching the back foot and that extra long stretch is just awesome. We don't think we can do that on for sure. Great pictures. Have a great afternoon.

Yep, I think you might be the warm up winner.

Angel, mommy is STILL smiling at that wonderful demonstration of how to keep warms. Um, Isabella was simply taking notes so she can incorporated those moves into HER routine. Yeah, that's the ticket.

I think I would pull something if I laid on the heater like that!!! Grace has been hanging out by the heater as well and Hobbes....well, he's got dibs on the fireplace. If I could fit, I'd be on the vent too! I'm tired of it being so cold!

Somebody definitely has it all figured out.... and so "entertainingly" too (if that's a word) might I add.

What a sweetie she is...

Love the way you got of that potential tricky situation! Great yoga moves there too. We have an electric blanket on our bed and Pepper presses herself against the quilt to try and suck up the heat from it!
