It's rainy here today so we're all snuggling and snoozing so we thought we'd show you some scenes from our neck of the woods. All the rain is filling up the rivers...
On the Oregon coast yhe winds are high and so are the waves. Mommy braved the sideways rain yesterday to take this photo of Devils Punch Bowl...
The fog made it hard to see very far off shore...
On shore the trees are fuzzy...
So is the kitty Mommy cheated on us with...
A some signs are funny...
That was actually pretty low for gas prices since most places we saw are up to 20 cents a gallon higher than that. But, Oregon law says there are NO self service stations which is really nice on windy, rainy days! Actually, it's nice on any day!

We hope whatever your weather is today that you are enjoying a nice snuggly, cuddly Sunday too!

You should have seen my human's face when she saw the prices on that gas station with NO self-service! She pays more than that here in California and has to pump her own gas.

I am glad to know I am not the only kitty who gets cheated on. My human can't walk out the door without trying to cheat on me. She totally looks for it - she has a wandering eye.

Your coast looks amazing, even if a little scary :)
The gas station people obviously have a sense of humor!

I can't even find a full service gas station anymore in Cleveland. I really miss them!

Those pictures are great. The one of the devils bowl is very interesting. Well Mom's new kittie friend looks like a nice guy. He did let her take his picture. Prices on gas are a little cheaper here but not much. Hope you have a nice cozy and warm Sunday.

Your neck of the woods is very pretty. How brave of your mom to not only to get that picture of Devils Punch Bowl but also to cheat on you guys with another kitty.
Our gas is about .20 cents more here right now and I have to pump my own. I only know of one gas station around that isn't self serve

Great pictures. With all the sow we have been getting it is going to be a flooding spring around here.I don't know of any gas stations that will pump your gas for you.I kind of like doing my own. No spills on the side of the car.

do you enjoy all that water? I think it's lovely. The river might be rushing, but it's so beautiful. Now you just have to look out for floods and landslides! (it's foggy in Okla too) {:-D

I love the area where you live. I was raised in Washington state and I miss the ferns and water. The flat cornfields here in Indiana just aren't the same. Beautiful photos.

Such beautiful pictures! And I'm jealous of your prices for gas...we're up to $3.31 and that's for self-service! Hopefully it will go down a bit soon. Hope you have a wonderful Sunday! :)

The gas prices are the same here in Vegas. I think I actually saw 3.13 for regular. I miss the beauty you get to enjoy everyday, but I look at it and say BRRrrr. That I don't miss. Moss grows on the west side of trees? or east? I forgot. Or is south or north?

Enjoy your Sunday!

Katnip Lounge said... January 16, 2011 at 11:31 AM

The Devil's Punch Bowl looks scary!
You guys sure live in a beautiful area.
Mommy said she'd rather have free gas and save the apology! It's $3.13 here in Henderson.

Devil's Punch Bowl looks so cool! Thanks for braving the sideways rain to show us the shot :)

No self-service stations!?! Wow...I haven't been to a full-service station in ages.

That rain is headed our way, we think. We really would prefer snow, can you do anything about that?

Our gas is at $2.999 for regular but that is self-service. With the bitter cold, it would be so nice for the Momster not to have to get out of the car:)

Happy Rainy Sunday.

You guys live in a very pretty area! We liked those pictures!

Our mom says she can't even find a full-service station anymore here in Michigan. Everything is self-service. And our gas stations offer two prices...one if you pay in cash and one if you pay with a credit card. The cash price is always about 5 - 10 cents cheaper than if you pay with credit!

Admiral Hestorb said... January 16, 2011 at 3:14 PM

My mommy knows that's coming. She was talking about it yesterday. She remembers the $5.00 a gallon. I wonder what their excuse is THIS time? Oh yes...China has a lot of cars...that's what it was.

TiLT said... January 16, 2011 at 4:08 PM

Okay - I was oogly over the amazing pics and awwing at the kittie ...you cheater :P
But I am stuck on the no self serve stations...what!?!!? We haven't had anything but self serve here for like 2 decades!! I wouldn't know what to do if someone else pumped my gas.

Reeni said... January 16, 2011 at 6:10 PM

It was a good day for snuggling up here too! Your Mommy cheated? I bet that kitty would like to be friends! Love, Moon

Great photos! The Devil's Punch Bowl is awesome!
I see you got caught "stepping out" on Angel and Isabella. Hmmm, do I sense extra treats in the very near future for them :)

Pretty photos and yes, a funny sign. Good for a smile. That is what gas is where I live but in the town I work in, 45 min away, it's about 30 cents higher. I miss the no self serv stations, too!
