My Name is Angel, I'm a Treataholic

Some of you noticed yesterday that I had something on my mind as I was sitting on the nightstand. Lately, it's always on my mind - TREATS! And my stash is in the nightstand!
I just can't seem to get enough treats. I try all the tricks I know to get Mommy to give me more like bringing her my mouse cause she thinks I'm so smart and cute when I do. And then the second she moves, I always run to the nightstand, look sweet and innocent and wait for my Kitty Krack.

Since you're here Mommy, maybe I could have some treats?
Trouble is, Mommy doesn't think I should eat as many treats. Unbelievable huh? She is also trying to make me eat healthy all natural treats which I will if I absolutely have to. But usually I just hold out until I get the good stuff or I try to open the drawer myself - even if it's the middle of the night.
I may have a slight addiction but I'm not ready for rehab just yet no matter what Mommy says. Now if only I had thumbs, I would be pulling these bags out right now.
If you have suggestions for "healthier" treats (is that an oxymoron?), you can let us know and maybe I'll try some.

Hope you have a treat filled day!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday! I was wondering... if I prefer to be ON the bag instead of IN the bag, would the term "let the cat out of the bag" mean the same as "let the cat off the bag"?
Nah, I didn't think so. No one "lets" a cat do anything - we choose to do whatever we want. Don't you agree?

Hope you have a Happy Tortie Tuesday doing whatever you please!

Guard Dog Extraordinaire

When I'm outside in the wild, wild back yard with Mommy, I'm always on guard duty to make sure nothing tries to get in our yard like one of the neighbor cats or even an opossum. I sit with my cute patooty towards her in order to have the best vantage point to see any danger lurking.
I may be looking away from her but I'm always listening to what she's doing.
And then I check out the other side for any wayward intruders.
Can't be too cautious for my Mommy!
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to my guard duty.
Hope you have a safe and fun Monday!

Sunday Scenes

Since Spring has sprung and work has eased up, it's been fun getting out and about and enjoy the beautiful sights here in Oregon. Last weekend we hiked the trails around McDowell Creek Falls so thought we'd take you along too! The first stop is a teaser of the falls to come...
Because the next stop is the Royal Terrace Falls which are 119 ft high...
And of course McDowell Creek...
And then Majestic Falls at 39 ft high...
We even saw a tourist from Kansas so we took a picture of him taking a picture!
Actually the tourist is my dad - he was here petsitting Angel, Isabella and Sadie while we were in Colorado for a few days (thanks Dad!) and he took the time to enjoy our beautiful state!

Hope you enjoyed this brief glimpse of some of the Spring sights here in Oregon!
Have a great Sunday!

PeeEss: Thanks for staying with us Grandpa! We miss you!

Stroll with Sadie!

Happy Sadieday! We're having nice, sunny weather which is perfect for a stroll so come along with me! We're going to stay on the neighborhood trails today which means I have to stay attached to my mommy by her leash. She might run off or something if I left her loose.
You still back there Mommy?
Which way do you think the deers are Mommy? Right or left? I think they're left so let's see if I'm right. (Did you follow all that? Ha roo roo!)
Yep, I was right!
I don't know why the deers always just stare at me. Maybe they can't get over how cute I am!
Well, we're back out on the sidewalk and on our way home. Mommy's trying to get me to look at the camera but I'm doing what the deers do and staring at the lawn care guys across the street even though they aren't near as cute as I am.
Okay, now that we're home I'll give you a face shot. It was worth the wait wasn't it!
Hope you have a great Sadieday and get to take a stroll in your neighborhood too!

Earth Day 2010

Since today is Earth Day, we thought we'd celebrate some of our favorite things about this Earth like feeling the warm sunshine on my furs while laying on my cute Mickey Mouse ears over the world blankie.
Sadie enjoys the beauty of nature in the backyard and especially on strolls through the forest.
And Angel enjoys munching on homegrown green kitty grass.
We all do our part to go green for the Earth like eating natural foods and playing with CasbahKitten toys made with ecofelt and kitty grown catnip. Mommy and Daddy recycle everything they can and try to make a small carbon footprint. We love this Earth and hope it stays beautiful for many generations to come!

Do you have any tips to go green?

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday and today's lesson is to never stop learning. There's always something new to learn whether it's where the treats are kept, where are the best sunbeams to nap in or even something as fun as algebra.
Okay, maybe algebra itself isn't fun but I've learned that if I sit on Daddy's notebook while he's doing homework I get lots of attention! See, learning new things has its rewards!

What's one of the best things you've learned?

Hidey Hole

One of my favorite things to do is to find great hiding spots around the house like this great Red Cave. This Cave is purrfect to hide in cause it fits me just right and I'm hidden on three sides so no one can see me from behind.
Trouble is, I can't see what's going on behind me either. Uh oh, I think I hear someone coming.
I need to get side mirrors on my Cave so I can see what's out there.
It sounds like a big scary monster sniffing my trail trying to find me and steal my Cave. If I stay very still maybe it'll go away.
Well, I had the big scary part right.

Lazy Sunday

We're all feeling lazy today after Mommy and Daddy came home yesterday. My little sisfur Isabella has been attached to Daddy like glue and Angel is sticking pretty close to Mommy too. I've been keeping an eye on both of them and following them wherever they go so they don't get any crazy idea to leave again. This is all very exhausting so today we're recuperating.
We hope you are having a good Sunday napping, playing or doing whatever makes you happy!

Enjoy the day!

Special Sadieday!

Happy Sadieday! Today is a special day because Mommy and Daddy are coming home from Colorado! We've enjoyed having Grandpa here with us but we are still very excited to have Mommy and Daddy home again! My little sisfur Isabella was first on lookout duty.
Are they coming yet Isabella?
Nope, not yet. Did you just eat a treat Sadie?
Hey Angel! Where you at? Come help look for Mommy and Daddy!
Okay, we're all ready! Now hopefully they show up soon!
We're all looking forward to Mommy and Daddy being home and for tax season being over but for me it'll mean more walks with Mommy since she won't be working all those hours anymore! WOO!

Hope you have a Happy Sadieday!
