Day Off

Did you not get the memo Mommy? We voted and think we should get a day off from the flashy beast. Maybe you should go read it.
Seriously.

Hope you have a relaxing day off from whatever annoys you today!

Happy Sadieday!

Yay it's Sadieday! Today I thought I'd show you what I have to put up while out on MY deck. No, I don't mean the ugly old rock patch that Mommy and Daddy didn't get finished with before the winter rains started. I mean up higher.
Do you see it now? That's the neighbor cat Annie Buttons spying on me.
She has a bell on her collar so I always hear her in MY yard but when I chase look for her, she goes up on her deck and watches me.
By summer, there will be lots of vines and flowers on her deck railing so she won't be able to spy on me anymore. And also hopefully by summer the ugly old rock patch will actually be a pretty flower garden that I can run in look at instead of the cat.

Hope you enjoy your Sadieday!

Impawtant Photo Shoot

The EtsyBlogger of the month is Erika from NicoDesigns. We all like Erika furry much because she leaves nice comments for us, she's sent Sadie dog biscuits and Mommy loves her work so we wanted to do a special post for her today. Since I am the SuperModel in the family I took charge of the photo shoot. My sisfur Angel said she had an appointment with a sunbeam so couldn't make it but my big sisfur Sadie said she'd help model one of the NicoDesigns bags that our mommy has. Okay Sadie, make that cute little hobo bag look really good!
Let's try that again only this time can you smile a little? Remember those yummy dog biscuits she sent you?
Well, that was a little better but I'm going to model the tote bag myself. I'll do my sophisticated look to match this purrty bag.
That bow looks like it could be furry fun to play with.
That's a wrap!
Be sure to check out Erika's blog and also NicoDesigns for more bags and fabulous pear pin cushions, crib shoes and fun dolls made by Erika. She donates a portion of her sales to help two worthy charities helping cancer patients in her home state of Texas.

Have a great Purrsday!

Tortie Tuesday!

It's Tortie Tuesday again! It's also tax time and since I help Mommy when she prepares tax returns, I thought I'd give you a behind the scenes look at how hard I work.
Warning - these photos do show me working furry hard but I don't mind so please don't call the animal police on my Mommy for making me work so hard.
I didn't realize how hard I actually work. I think I need more treats and extra scritches to keep my stamina up! Even with all my help, Mommy is still really busy this time of year so we apologize if we're late with comments on your blogs. We'll do our best though!

Have a Happy Tortie Tuesday!

Still Workin' For Me...

Last Christmas I got a new double-wide Super Scratcher which I love furry much. Well, Mommy says it's time for my old single-wide ones to go cause she thinks they look shabby and are worn out. Can you believe that?
I've got these broken in just the way I want them and I still use them a lot so they're not worn out. See...
Can I please keep my single-wide scratchers Mommy? Purrty please?
The cute look works efurry time!

It's Me Again...

Hello furiends! My sisfurs are napping so I thought I'd update you about my health since some of you asked about me yesterday. My v-e-t is pretty sure I have Cushings disease. I had some tests done last month and they found that my liver enzymes are very high. This is what started efurrything.
I also had proten in my pee (I won't go into how they got my pee but let's just say it involved my daddy following me around the yard in the early morning - Ha roo roo!). Anyway, I had another test done this past week and the proteins were higher than before but the results show it's related to Cushings disease and not kidney problems thankfully.
All this is stressing out my mommy but the v-e-t says that as long as I am feeling okay then we can wait 4-6 months before testing again. I appreciate the purrs and crossed paws I've received and I'm sure efurrything will be just fine.
Now I think I'm going to go nap like my sisfurs.
Have a great Sunday!

Stroll with Sadie!

Woo! It's Sadieday! Time for another stroll with me! Hope you're ready cause I am so let's go!
I love being able to run in the hills! It's fun to do a little off-roading too!
For the most part I stay on the trails and try not to get too far in front of Mommy cause she makes me comes back when I do. She's a pawty pooper.
I'm coming Mommy. Hold your horses.
Okay, next time I need to watch what I say since Mommy doesn't hold her horses but she does hold the leash which means, we're heading back home.
Although my stroll was short, I had a good time and hope you did too! Thanks for coming along!

Have a great Sadieday!

Is Efurrything a Group Project?

It's been purrty warm here this week so Mommy opened the window for me to enjoy the fresh air and watch for birdies.
I should have know that I can't do anything alone with my sisfurs around.
Does this happen in your house too?

Hope you are having a lovely Purrsday!

Day with Daddy

Mommy is at a tax update class today so Daddy is staying home with us. Actually, he has the day off of work so he didn't have a choice but we know he loves spending time with us anyway. A day with Daddy means a day in the Mancave napping while he watches the big TV.
Who knew someone could listen to so much sports stuff. Will they ever stop talking about the games Daddy?
We had to watch the games on the weekend and now we have to hear someone talking about them all over again. I don't get it. Hey, is that popcorn I smell?
We do miss Mommy today but we also enjoy our popcorn day with Daddy!
Hope you have a great Monday!

Lazy Sunday...

While I'm enjoying a lazy day today...
I'll be dreaming of a handsome mancat named Banjo!
Banjo's mom, Catherine, gave us an award on her blog Corner of Cat's Mind! Thank you so much Catherine, we're very honored! We love your blog cause your posts are always fun and inspiring, your photos are beautiful and Banjo is so adorable!

The rules we must follow in accepting this award are:

1) Thank the person giving the award
2) Copy award to your blog
3) Place a link to their blog
4) Name 7 things people don't know about you
5) Nominate 7 bloggers
6) Place a link to those bloggers
7) Leave a comment on the blog letting them know about the awards

Okay, now for the 7 things people don't know about us. Hmmm, this is tough but here goes:

Me (Angel)
1) I wish I was tall. I love to be picked up so I can see what is on the shelves, on the cabinets, on the top of the closet - everything that is up high is what I want to see.
2) I like to lay on Mommy and Daddy's lap but on my terms. If it's not my idea, it ain't happening.

Isabella
1) I like to lay on Mommy and especially Daddy's lap on any terms. I stay wherever I'm put and can get comfortable and fall asleep in 20 seconds.
2) I'm a "wet noodle" cat. When someone picks me up, my body goes limp so it's like picking up a big wet noodle.

Sadie
1) I am Mommy's shadow. I follow her around the house all the time.
2) I can do what I want to my sisfurs but I don't like them doing the same to me. If they sniff me, I growl. If they touch me, I growl. For some reason they ignore me though.
3) Recently I was told I might have Cushings Disease. I went in to the v-e-t for a blood test before getting my teefs cleaned and the test showed my liver enzymes are high. I have no other symptoms so am under no treatment since the v-e-t says it'd make me sicker. I feel fine and don't act any differently but it upsets my mommy cause she's worried about me.

We can't pick just 7 blogs so consider it given to all of our readers if you'd like to accept!

Hope you enjoyed learning more about us! Thanks again to Catherine for the award!

Have a great Sunday!

Happy Sadieday!

It's my favorite day of the week again - Sadieday! Today I want to tell you about a fabulous prize I won in a contest for a new handmade doggy toy shop, CasbahCanine! It's a stuffed bone toy in a very girly denim fabric just for me!
Also included were yummy heart shaped dog treats! Mmmm!
Treats and a toy - what a great prize huh! My bone even has a squeaker in it which I try and whap when I hear it!
And, just to let you kitties know, my sisfur Isabella likes my bone toy too and even tries to bunny kick it when I'm not looking.
She has more than enough toys from CasbahKitten though so she can leave my bone alone!
Thank you very much Molly, Jane, Alice and Rita! I like my bone and the treats very much!
Hope you have a great Sadieday!
