Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween everyone! We got out of having to wear costumes this year and since I'm the resident black and orange cat, I get to pose with our little pumpkin...
I might even give the stem a bitey...
Uh oh, someone's coming...
Do you see that ghostly floof go by?
Not you too Sadie!
Since Sadie is a Momma's Girl, she got to sniff the stem too...
Of course Sadie had to give the stem a bitey too...
And Angel couldn't be left out...
We'll end with her Halloween face...
We'll be hanging out in the basement tonight since Angel is scairt of the doorbell and Sadie isn't allowed to sniff the goblins who come trick or treating. I nap right through all the excitment so am content wherever I am.

How will you be spending your Halloween?

Hope you have a safe and Happy Halloween!

Stroll with Sadie!

Yay it's Sadieday! It's been raining here a lot but it cleared up long enough so we could go on a Sadieday stroll. Are you ready? Let's go!
We have to stay in the neighborhood today since Mommy says the forest trails will be muddy. She's a party pooper.
Truth is, she's always a little nervous walking up in the forest during Halloween time. I guess she thinks there's ghosts and ghoblins up there but that we're safe down here...
There could be creepy critters hanging out in the bushes...
or flying through the air on broomsticks dodging telephone poles...
Maybe the safest place to be this Sadieday before Halloween is at home...
Hope you have a safe Sadieday and have a very safe Halloween tomorrow!
Sadie

PeeS: Our furiend Skeeter is making her journey to the Bridge today. We're all very sad and will miss her a lot. Our thoughts are with her and her family.

Kitties Unite!

I was on the desk while Mommy was working and I happened to glance down at the magazine I was laying on and saw something totally shocking! I had to look back to make sure it was only in the magazine and not real life...
I'm going to show you what I saw but kitties, you are not going to believe it! You must not show your humans this so please keep it between us only! Here it is...
The photo is accompanied by a description worthy of filling a litterbox. Are you ready for this? Okay, here goes...

Create a defined workspace for yourself that keeps your focus in and your kitty out.

It's cute the first couple of times kitty traipses across your keyboard while your at your computer. But by the tenth time it becomes a distracting annoyance, especially when you've got work to do.

Now you can prevent your pet from walking across your work area with CatNix. These freestanding partitions help you stay focused on work rather than requiring you to shoo away the cat.

Everykitty knows that 1) we can't be kept out of anywhere, 2) we are cute ALL the time and are NEVER a distracting annoyance and 3) we are not to be shoo'd away from anything (unless it's dangerous and a keyboard certainly does not meet that definition). This is how I proved my point...

I suggest you do the same. We have to take a stand and not let humans get any ideas that things like that will be tolerated. Desktops or laptops will not keep us from claiming any prime spot no matter what! We must nix the CatNix!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday! It's been cold and rainy here so I've been hanging out with Daddy in the Mancave...
He keeps me warm by letting me lay on his legs even if they go numb. I am most certainly a Daddy's Girl!

Does your mom or dad spoil treat you more like the royalty you are?

Hope you have a wonderful Tortie Tuesday!

Kansas Critters

We found out Mommy was checking out other critters while she was at our Grandpa's in Kansas! She can't deny it because we found the proof on her camera! She was checking out kitties...
woofies...
little bitty yippy woofies...
and even big eared little donkeys...
We can't understand why she has to look around but at least she comes home to us. Do your beans check out other critters when they leave the house too?

Bliss...

We're all glad that Mommy came home from visiting our Grandpa in Kansas last night and we had a lot of fun at the welcome home party, can you tell?
We're going to spend the day recuperating, relaxing and sticking to Mommy like glue.

What do you do when your beans come home after being away?

Have a great Sunday!

Happy Sadieday!

It's Sadieday! This morning I was just laying around thinking about how I wish I was on a stroll with Mommy and I was missing her very much...
Then Daddy reminded me that Mommy comes home from Kansas today!
I can't wait to see her so I'll watch her and be the first to welcome her home!
That means I'll be first to get any presents that she brings home too!

Hope you enjoy your Sadieday with your family today!

Observations...

Have you noticed that fall trees...
are nature's Torties?
Maybe that's why they are so beautiful!

Hope you have a lovely Fall day!

Tortie Tuesday

It's Tortie Tuesday and I needed to use all of my Tortitude today. You see, the big red box with wheels came out and that usually means someone thinks they're going somewhere. I found out that Mommy thinks she's going to Kansas today to visit our Grandpa. Well, I'll just sit my Tortie tush on the big red box and give an adorable look. There's no way she would leave now!
Hmmm. That didn't work. She's still getting things together to put in this big red box. I need to figure out something else...
Okay, even though it's Tortie Tuesday, I pulled in non-Tortie reinforcement and told her to try to give an adorable face like mine...
That didn't work either. This may take awhile so I might as well get comfy.
If my Tortie charm doesn't work and Mommy does go to Kansas, we'll just enjoy our time with Daddy - I have him wrapped around my paw! We'll still be posting and reading your blogs and will comment when we can.

Hope you have a Happy Tortie Tuesday!
