Silly Sunday Scenes

Looking out the window is one of our favorite things to do...
Usually there isn't much going on in our cul-de-sac but today there's a deer eating lunch at our neighbor's...
The neighbor cat Bourke peeked around a bush to see what the deer was having for lunch...
Bourke went around behind the bush which confused the deer...
After a bit, Bourke saunters out from another spot which further confused the deer...
He wondered what in the world that little orange creature was and where'd he go...
He decided he'd sit and think about it for awhile! Ha roo roo!
Sometimes it pays off to be a Nosy Neighbor!

Hope you have a great Sunday!
Sadie

We think the deer wants to be a kitty!! (who wouldn't?)

Wow, I had no idea that deer were kinda dumb! Bourke, of course, was not fazed by the deer at all.

At the park yesterday, we saw a two deer and Abby didn't even bark at them. She just watched and they did not run away!

Ha ha! That's one confused deer!

Ummm.... Sadie... I would suggest the deer isn't sitting in the last photo and that your neighbour will have a 'surprise' in the flower bed this morning... :)

So glad Bourke decided to take the long way around to avoid the deer ~ safety first! :)

Have a Happy Sunday Sadie!

The Deer is a little dangerous. Glad the cat didn't get too close. They both seem to have adjusted to each other. And Sadie was probably just scratching her head at the whole thing.

Wow, that is some real excitement, Sadie! I'm going to pass your blog entry to Skeezix. He is a cat blogger friend of ours, and he swears that deer are vicious and like to eat cats - LOL!

Funny! Sadie, you sure have some interesting things to watch on your Outdoor TV. We think Bourke plotted the whole time to confuse the deer...just because he could!

Sadie, you have quite an exciting life there. Strangers having lunch at your neighbors, the cat confusing the deer. There is a lot of entertainment out that window. Glad you showed us all the extra animals. That deer is quite plump, so it must eat there quite often.
Have a great Sunday.

Maybe the deer got a bug bite on its bum - Arwem sits like that outside when she gets her bum bitten ;-)
Still, I think it is too cool that your mommeh caught a deer sitting in a photo - I've never seen a deer sit like that before!

Nice photo's but there won't be any pretty plants left if the deer keeps eating. Hope he doesn't return with more of his friends. lol

Sadie...what things you get to see. Did you say what a brave kitty Bourke is? My goodness.

There are lots and lots of deers here. Mommy says we're caked up with them.

cute pics! I've never seen a deer that up close and personal. My only interaction with Bambi has been watching them dart across the highway!

OMC!! We can't believe that deer sat down like that!! We've seen deers in our yard, but only from the window when we're inside.

Maybe the deer wants a furry friend? Or maybe she's still hungry. Hmmm...

I bet that is quite unusual for the deer to be so tolerant of the kitty. I once encountered a deer and it got quite mad at me, and pawed the ground and made cross noises.

I agree with some other commenters that those flowers may not last long with the deer sepdning time there.

That is awesome!! You actually have deer IN your neighborhood? I know that they're not good for the plants, but it would be great to watch them. Great pictures!

I hear about deer eating plants and it seems so foreign to me; even though I grew up seeing them in the fields by our house. And we still hear coyotes when I visit my parents--now that is scary.
