Working Weekend

Last weekend it was too hot to do much of anything so we decided to help Mommy work on her beading.
I got the bead box open but I'll let Miss NosyTail look for what we need...
You finding those kitty beads Angel?
Are you sure you're just not playing in there?
Okay, so we weren't much help but we're sure Mommy appreciated our help all the same!

What project do you like to help your beans with?

Hope you had a great weekend and have a great week too!

Oh wow. If that were jane, she'd be EATING those beads!!

jane helps with the gardening and Alice helps me with hand sewing. Like you girls, their 'help' varies in efficiency but is always appreciated!

Oh you two are just the cutest. I'm sure your mom loves having your help. Angel are you looking for something in particular or are you just browsing there? :)
Duke doesn't really help with anything he just makes sure that he supervises everything I do very closely.

Oh! How fun to be helping your Mommy! I bet the three of you made the most gorgeous jewelry items together :)

Everything your Mom made had an invisible bit of kitty love attached to it. And that is very special.

I helped Gerard color! He pulled out the crayons and I helped him choose the colors.

You two are great help to your Mom! We try to help our Mom with everything but she says we just end up making the job longer...no respect!

I am thinking that lovely container full of all those beautiful beads would be too much for any kitty to resist! Banjo won't help with the vacuuming ~ he poofs up and gives it a hiss the minute I pull it out of the closet and then runs away! But he will help me if I have some snoozing to do! :)

Have a happy Monday girls!

I don't like it when the momma beads!! When she's beading, that means I can't be in her lap taking a much needed nap!!

If Toby got within 50 feet of those beads, we would never find them all. He's more of a crash-and-dash guy. Your girls are carefully reaching for just the right thing.

Okay, how does the box not topple over with her weight?
I do not think she is trying to help you; I think she is trying to find the purrfect beads for her paw:)

that kinda looks like a cat-as-trophe waiting to happen. Though we thinks our mewms knocks over about as much stuff as us but no one calls her bad names when she does, hahameow!

My cats are such spoiled furballs that they never attempt to help with anything - for which I am grateful.

We like to help Mommy get our foods ready! And we are huge helpers when she's at her desk, holding down papers and exploring the drawers. The Baby loves to fold laundry, and Johnny helps Daddy at his deak.

And we all shed and fill up the litter boxes, so they both have something to do.

Sherpa often runs off with half finished jewelry items. The publicist thinks he's half gypsy.

My human is totally incompetent - she could not do anything at all without my help.

Wow, good thing that wasn't us in that bead box. We would have had all of them on the floor. What fun that would have been. We try to help Mom with the outside chores but when we are inside, it is nap time. We do keep the grasshoppers down in numbers some.
Angel you are too cute in that box.
Hope you all have a great week. Hugs to Sadie.

Well, we are like you - we like to help our mom with her beading, or any jewelry making and also with any crocheting she does. We are super good at making sure the string ends in the right place (by chewing on it of course!) Mom doesn't like us playing with her beads though - she is afraid we might eat them!

Hi again, BT. I missed your butterfly post from yesterday because I'm offline every weekend. Had to stop back and check it out.

What a lovely butterfly in your photo. Never seen one like it in this area. Cool dragonfly too. And of course the furry ladies were lovely as always:)

Dear Isabella and Angel,

Both of my girl cats, Cajsa & Sara, like to help out with jewellery-making. (Calle Boy-Cat liked to help out too, but now he has moved to the farm.) The girl-kitties look at the beads and admire my work. But if they don't like it, they sit om my beadboard covering up my project, or kick a few beads or findings off the table. This is their way of pointing out to me that I am not doing the right thing, saying:

'Choose these beads instead! Try another colour! 6mm would be cuter than 8mm beads! Use silver instead of copper! Or why don't you take a break and cratch me behind my ears?'

(What a wonderful beading box! And still the cats can get in it! Amazingly resourceful cats!)

Best wishes from
Cajsa's and Sara's bean,
Anna

It look like Angel was having a lot of fun with your beads. That box would be like Christmas for kitties.
Our two like to snoopervise when I clean their commodes. Then, when I get done, they like to take turns "trying out" their newly cleaned facilities.

You are excellent furry helpers. Au and Target help with everything from writing and office work to cooking and cleaning.
