It's Tortie Tuesday! Lately it seems that all I do around here is help out everyone and today is no exception. After helping Daddy with his finals last week, I'm now helping him get his "honey you'd better do" list done. I'm helping him hang a shelf and making sure he doesn't get it crooked. You notice that I'm staying out of the box behind me since this is work time and I take my job very seriously. Box time comes when the job is done.
Uh oh, I think I hear something going near my box...
No one would dare touch a hard working Tortie's box would they?
Guess all work and no play means Angel takes your box away.

It reminds me of the old legend of the grasshopper and the ant. The ant worked hard while the grasshopper just sat in a box and played his fiddle. Don't remember how that ended.

Oh Isabella, I hope you get your box back especially since you have worked so hard helping the Dad. It looks like you are in charge of the tape measure. You are such a good girl to be such a big help. We will go tell Angel to move on out of that box. It is her turn to do some chores.

Whenever I see a 'tortie tuesday' post, I think of our Samantha who disappeared this past January. She had only one eye and was homeless. If it was a coyote, I just hope it was quick. Every tortie I have interacted with has been SUCH an amazing disposition. And Isabella, you are so beautiful!
For other folks (I consider cats and dogs as persons) reading this, my blog has stories and information helpful for cat caretakers everywhere.
