Scenes of the Season from the Oregon Coast

As the holidays wind down, we thought we'd show you some of the seasonal scenes from here in Oregon. The weekend before Christmas Mommy and Daddy went to the Victorian Christmas tour at the Heceta Head Lighthouse . This is the view of the Lighthouse Keepers house (now a B&B) from the parking lot when they arrived at 4pm.
While there was still light, they took a half mile trail to the lighthouse with views like this.
They got to Heceta Head Lighthouse and only got this one photo before going up inside it and coming back out to total darkness.
The Lighthouse Keepers house was all lit up though and Santa was on the porch. There's two kitties that live at the Keepers house but Mommy didn't see them that night.
When we found out all these birdies were flying around when they got there, we wondered if the Keepers house needed two more kitties!
Anyway, we hope you enjoyed seeing some of scenes from our part of the world! Enjoy your Sunday!

Our mewmie was in Oregon for Christmas, too. She will post some pix soon, and said their B & B looked very cozy and inviting! Mewmie said she saw bald eagles where she stayed, but we'd stay away from birdies like that, good think we are inside kitties anyway...

I love lighthouses! Such a beautiful coastline - looks cold, though! ... I think those birds would be hard for anybody to catch!
