Visitor in the Dark

Hey Angel, what are you looking at?
Can't you see it Isabella? I know it's dark out but I'll turn on my headlights so you can see.
Do you see it now?
It's Sticky Opossum! He's bigger than the last time he visited.
Can he come in Mommy?

Oh my Gosh! An opossum! We don't have those here in Southwest Saskatchewan. We had a rat problem for a little while this summer (gross!) but they were NOT cute like the opossums!

Angel & Isabella - you are lucky to have such fun things to watch out your windows!

That's cool that you had a visitor. We have opossums here too and they like to eat all kinds of stuffs. Is that one of the little babies?......HEY! Is that a jelly bean??

Those are such creepy creatures. They are one's to stay away from for sure. They are rats, just bigger ickier ones. They do lots of damage to your yard, your lawn furniture, they carry lots of disease....go away and don't come back.

Fabulous picture though. How in the world did you manage to get the picture so quickly through the glass?

Oh my, I've never seen an opossum before! They look kind of like big rats. Ewwww! Good thing you had your headlights on Angel so you could see it. I'm curious, what would you have done if your Mommy would have let it in?!

Pee Ess, why don't we have nice blings like that where we can just poke our heads through to see what is lurking in our yard?

Oh, I love opossums! I know most folks don't, but I find them shy and sweet. And I like their little pink noses and hands. :) My kitties like to watch the opossum out the window. The only part I don't like is that they poop on my perennials and leave it for me to clean up. Ick.

Hehe--cats are the best! Mine always let me know if there's something 'funny' going on outside, too!

Wow that's cool that the cats told you so you could catch a pic!

How exciting! I thought I saw one the other night in our yard, but it was one of my kit-cat friends trying to sneak up on me!
