Tortie Tuesday!

Happy Tortie Tuesday! I hope you enjoyed a long weekend of football napping! Today's lesson in Tortieness is to show that you can say a lot with your face and eyes without having to exert yourself too much. This is furry important since I have lots to say but I prefer to conserve my energy, especially when I'm comfy or tired. Here are some examples of things I was "saying" to my Mommy:

Oh noes, not ANOTHER photo session!
I'm ignoring you.
Look at that bug on the floor! You better run Mommy!
I'm sleepy.
Uh oh, I think we just found out why Daddy calls Sadie "Stinky"!
I better get some treats after all this.
I'm wondering if this is ever going to end!
I hope you learned some tips today that will help you say a lot without a single Meow or having to move at all.

Happy Tortie Tuesday!
Isabella

Happy Tortie Tuesday! These are the best photos! I took some similar ones of Tasha for today, but they didn't turn out as well as yours, Isabella. (Tasha says you were very patient to sit still that long for your mom!)

Yes, little exertion and lots of treats equals a happy cat indeed. What an adorable tortie you are Isabella.

Your expressions are wonderful and say it all! my dad says I am the only cat he has ever know who does a cross expression! When I am annoyed it shows in my face so dad knows to beware and NOT tease me!!!!

Our mom thinks Torties have the most expressive faces, you just proved her point. You are very good at expressing yourself, Isabella!

She looks so much like my Neko would have looked by now or "looks by now". Neko was a tortie in the worse sense of the word - lots of behavioral problems, etc etc.

I had to return her to the shelter. I hated myself for it but I didn't want to damage her in any way by scolding her so so so often.

According to the woman that runs the shelter...a family with no other pets adopted her within a week. I hope she's well

Isabella, I completely understand. There are times I simply do not feel like I have the energy or desire to speak. Why can't people understand what I am saying through my mind?

Oh yes, she has it down to a science. I also love the "can I have some of your food" look. You will get this angelic look with big eyes. All that is missing is the soft focus (the Star Trek look).

How cute! We LOVE the 'stinky' face! Someone in our house has that nickname too. Good job Isabella, you could be a silent film star.
