Welcoming Committee

I enjoy taking you on strolls with me but I've never showed you what I come home to after those strolls. Well, I thought I would show you the welcoming committee that waits for me and Mommy. First, let's pretend I'm going on a stroll today so this is the view you'd get! Cute huh?
Well, this is the view when we return home. Can you see my little sisfur Angel in the window? She's not as cute as my hiney.
If you couldn't see Angel before, you certainly can now because she has to get in the window and steal Mommy's attention away from me.
She then runs to the door and greets us as we walk in. Can you tell she's more excited to see Mommy than me?
If you are wondering where Isabella is, she always waits behind the door but she's there every time too.
I hope you enjoyed seeing what I have to come home to.

Do you have a welcoming committee at your house?

Yes, my welcoming committee when I get home from work is first Gerard at the bus stop and then as soon as I enter the house, Spunky Doodle and Manny both come and plop over to greet me. It's very nice!

My two both greet me at the door too, eager for ear scritches. Then they have to tell me about their day and what they saw out the window.

LOL, how wonderful! Arwen is my welcoming committee, so when we come home from a walk, she runs to get a quick drink while I take off my shoes, then she does the 'doggy bow' to me as I get further into the house :)

Great welcoming committee!

All 6 of us kitties and the Dixie Dog welcome our mom when she gets home from work cause we're hungry!

It's wonderful to have someone waiting when we come home. Someone who missed us and is always glad to see us.

Brian gets a huge welcome, especially from Tasha, but for some reason, Dobby is the only one that gets excited about seeing me. (I suspect this is because Brian plays "string" with the cats as soon as he gets home!)

Big purrs to all of you!

I love when they show us how much they have missed us. It looks like Sadie really enjoys her walks too.

I love your welcoming committee. I have one too - althought I think my committee is there to tell me they are hungry!

My welcoming committee is my hubby greeting me with a kiss :)

That's quite a welcoming committee! We wait for Mom but as soon as the door opens we run to the kitchen so she knows she must feed us before anything else!

That's so cool!
If we don't all go out together, whoever wasn't on the walk greets us - and lays a guilt trip on Mom so they can go on a walk, too. So she takes them... and then we greet them and lay the same guilt trip on Mom ... Ha roo roo roo!
Play bows,
Zim

Issy is behind the door because she's still trying to get the transporter to work. I need to send Ms. Coco thru to help her fix it. Ms. Coco is our magically disappearing/reappearing cat who thinks it's all great fun---Until we start getting hysterical; at which point she is too busy rolling in laughter to tell us where she is!

Now that is a great welcoming committee! I think "hungry" and "string" are very important, too. In our house, "feathers" (just saying the word) works wonders for making cats magically appear.

Yes we have two kitties waiting for us too! Isn't it lovely! :D

Aww! So cute. My two cats -- Pimp and Moo -- are my welcoming committee. They come running right to the front door (and Moo jumps on me) as soon as I get home. Just like doggies!

There is nothing like hearing, "MOMMA!" in those cute kids voices when you open the door. Even if you just went to take out the trash:)

That is so great! Koko will meet my wife when she gets home and try to trip her by going around her legs. Then, he will plop down in front of her and start rolling around. When I get home, he just keeps on sleeping. Oh well:)
