Tortie Tuesday!

It's Tortie Tuesday so I'm going to demonstrate how to snoopervise with Tortitude! Daddy decided to vacuum today so everything was picked up off the floor, including me. I'll just lay here and hold everything down while I snoopervise and display no fear whatsoever of that loud vacuum. This requires a lot of Tortitude!
Are you done yet?
What do you do when your beans vacuum?

Manny runs away but sometimes I will stay. Depends on if I am looking out the window or not from my cat tree.

LOL, Arwen has a love/hate relationship with the ShopVac. She hates the sound, but insists on trying to eat the hose when it is on, usually resulting in it sucking on her face and making her even more angry :s

Isabella, you look remarkably calm for a vacuum session! We usually hide in the laundry hamper!

We have only one small area rug in our house and it's vacuumed about once per week, thank goodness. But when it turns on.... we scatter!

Isabella...you do so well with the vaccuum! Harley could never sit this still!
But he doesn't have tortitude like you :)

We wish Tasha would take lessons from you, Isabella! Our dad won't even let mom vacuum when he is home because it upsets Tasha. She hides from it under several layers of blankets. And she's also taught the boys that it's a Bad Thing (especially Franklin who is very impressionable).

Sophia doesn't hang around when the vacuum comes out. She strolls off to the bedroom and lounges there until we start vacuuming there. Then its back to the living room.

A very brave cat. Even my torties hide when the dreaded vacuum cleaner comes out.

When the vacuum turns on, I give it a real Hard look. I keep staring at it, until it gets too close to me. Then I run away. Usually under the bed.

My daughter runs away then peeks around the corner while holding her blanket. My son attacks the vacuum.
Boys are weird:)

Gidget and Lola run and hide, while I lounge on the bed and watch it all. The other 2 are such silly kitties...

All I have to do is put my hand on the handle and cats FLY everywhere! Usually out of the house. I'm surprised you can't hear the sonic boom from there.

btw: little something went out in today's mail for you. xo

What is the deal with the vacuum??! I have never, EVER, sucked a whole cat up with the vacuum. But yet, everyone runs for the hills like I may just get them this time. Goofy cats.
