Napping Day

After a full weekend of football, and before the game tonight, it's time to rest. I am the master napper so will demonstrate my fabulous skill. First, you must get your napping place good and ready by "making putty" in the spot you want to lay on (some kitties call this kneading dough or giving a massage but I call it making putty). I take this part of the process very seriously:
Not quite ready yet but I did have to sit down because this is taking longer than I thought.
Nope, not yet. See my big ole claws?
Okay, it's purrfect but how do I get that flashy box out of my face so I can nap?

I hope you learned the art of napping!

We'll be napping with our Grampy today because his beloved Red Sox lost last night and are out of the World Series. He need lost of purrs and snuggling today.

Hi,
Your animals are lucky to have such loving caretakers. How precious! They are indeed part of the family. Our animals stay outside. I have 2 cats and 1 dog also. My kids and husband just love them. :-)

you are such a beautiful kitty - we agree that a nap spot must be properly kneaded and those cameras are just annoying. Hope you had a good nap.

Maybe this is what I'm forgetting when I lay down for one of my naps... You can learn a lot from a beautiful kitty :) Thanks, Isabelle!

Sometimes I think that my husband is part cat - he has the whole napping thing down to a science!

Miss Lilly, my time management expert, feels it is important to also choose the least convenient place to take a rest. very important, she says! You look like a cat who was dreaming of how to get back at those humans for the football stunt....
